Both of those numbers deserve a caveat, because of how the underlying rows are built. A Union Pacific yard location in this data is recorded as the mean of a track polyline’s vertices rather than a surveyed facility point, and all 2,459 rail-yard rows carry that same derivation. The mean of a long yard is not a gate you can drive to.
The ring filed against it is 75 miles, a slice-wide constant flagged as estimated, so it is not a measurement of this yard either. Neither caveat changes the shape of the finding — four Clinton County records inside 2.70 miles and nothing on this side for 16.69 miles — but it does mean the precise figures are approximate, and we would rather say so than let a decimal point imply a survey.

Illinois statute 625 ILCS 5/15-111 sets 80,000 pounds gross for five or more axles, 20,000 pounds on a single axle and 34,000 pounds on a tandem, with no axle inside that tandem over 20,000 pounds, and a formula for consecutive axle groups that varies with spacing.
Local authorities and cities over 50,000 people may set their own weight limits by ordinance, but the same statute stops them exceeding the state maximums. So an Illinois local limit can only ever be lower than the state figure, never higher — which is worth checking before you plan a route on the state number alone.

- What about the title?We need a title — unless the truck is old enough that it never had one. If yours is lost, a replacement is a counter transaction at the Secretary of State. If there has never been one, there is a bonded route. Those are the three cases people actually arrive with.
