Sell your semi truck for cash in Calexico the easy and convenient way

FMCSA’s carrier census counts 670 active carriers based in Calexico, and 473 of them are authorised for interstate work against 196 that stay inside California. If your authority is interstate, have your USDOT number and the truck’s registration together before you call, since those two documents tell us which records to match the VIN against.

Of those 670, the federal carrier census lists 561 hauling general freight, 166 carrying fresh produce, 134 moving paper products and 117 hauling grain, feed or hay. Three fleets registered in Calexico field 236, 196 and 193 power units, with 114, 295 and 226 drivers respectively, according to FMCSA. North-west of the city, Ventura Transfer Co, a liquid bulk terminal, is 8.4 miles away on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics’ list, and the Energy Information Administration places the Imperial petroleum product terminal 10.5 miles out. A tanker tractor based at either can stay where it is; give us a site contact and any terminal access rules before the pickup day.

The Bureau of Transportation Statistics also lists NAF El Centro 14 miles north-west and Holtville Carrier LS 17.3 miles north-east, both military installations. If the truck sits on or beside a base, let us know about any pass or escort the gate requires so the collection is arranged around it.

Agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting account for 2,925 of the 11,098 jobs located in Calexico in 2023, or 26.4 percent, in the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts. The same LEHD job counts give transportation and warehousing 425 of those jobs, construction 231 and wholesale trade 223. USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counts 482 farms in Imperial County, with cattle, milk and wheat as the leading products.
