Edwards Air Force Base, listed by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics as a military installation, lies 4.2 miles east of the town. If you are stationed there and your work truck is parked in base housing or a lot off the installation, tell us exactly where it sits and who can let a driver reach it.

Photographs help most when they show the dump body, the hoist and the tires as well as the cab and the dash. Add the axle configuration and whether the truck carries a tag axle or a pusher.

Owner-operators who hauled for the Boron mine and now park at home in town can sell from the driveway. Say whether the tractor and trailer are sold together or separately, and list the trailer’s own VIN and plate if both are going.

On Energy Information Administration records, the MOJAVE ASPHALT TERMINAL, a petroleum product terminal, stands 16.3 miles north-west. Tankers and asphalt haulers loading there are trucks we buy; have the tank’s inspection and test records together before a call, along with the plate and VIN.
A day cab or sleeper that shuttles freight to and from that yard can be collected wherever it is now parked in the Mojave area.
The town held 750 jobs in 2023 according to the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts, and 80 of them, a 10.7 percent share, were in wholesale trade. Box trucks and straight trucks that run deliveries for wholesalers fit our list, as do the tractors behind them.
