Sell your semi truck for cash in March ARB the easy and convenient way

Of the 8,657 jobs located in March ARB in 2023, the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts place 4,342 in transportation and warehousing, just over half. Trucks that shuttle stock between wholesalers often carry a lift gate or a reefer unit; mention either one when you first get in touch and include a photo of the body plate alongside the cab shots.

Eight warehousing firms and five construction firms keep premises around the airfield, a tally drawn from the Census Bureau’s County Business Patterns. If your truck is kept inside one of those warehouse lots, check whether the gate needs a visitor pass and send the name of whoever signs drivers in.

FMCSA’s carrier census shows 38 active motor carriers based at March ARB, and 31 of them operate intrastate against 7 that cross state lines. Most trucks being sold here therefore carry California-only operating authority, which keeps the paperwork to the California title and registration alone.

General freight is the cargo listed by 21 of those carriers in the federal census, with household goods at 6, machinery and large objects at 5, and liquids or gases at 4. The biggest local operator lists 107 power units and 165 drivers in FMCSA’s carrier census, the next has 90 units and 83 drivers, and a third runs 24 of each. When a fleet manager sells several units at once, a spreadsheet with each VIN, unit number and parking location lets us plan one visit instead of many.

Drivers working for March ARB carriers split into 236 who stay within 100 miles of base and 405 who go farther, on the same FMCSA registration figures. A long-haul tractor may be parked well outside Riverside County when you decide to sell; give us the city and lot where it actually sits.

Two new carriers registered here with FMCSA in 2025 and two in 2024. A recently started operator with a single truck sells the same way a fleet does: title in hand, registration current, and photos of each side of the vehicle.

The North American Rail Network, kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, puts Arlington Yard 10.3 miles north-west of March ARB and Colton Yard 12.3 miles to the north. Two Colton petroleum product terminals sit about 12.8 and 12.9 miles north-west, as the Energy Information Administration lists them. If a fuel tanker is part of the sale, send photos of the tank’s data plate and the latest tank test sheet with your inquiry.

The State of California Department of Motor Vehicles handles truck titles, and its Riverside East field office stands at 6425 Sycamore Canyon Blvd, Riverside, 92507, about 3.4 miles from March ARB. A seller who has lost the certificate of title can apply for a duplicate there before the sale.

Bring the VIN, your current registration and a photo ID to Riverside East, and if a lender is still listed on the title, a lien release from that lender. The California DMV publishes its title transfer steps on its website, and a signed-off title is what lets us complete the purchase without a second visit.

The Advanced Clean Trucks Regulation is contested, according to the California Air Resources Board’s own amendment notice. Separately, the zero-emission sales mandate set for 2036 has its enforcement paused, according to a federal court filing in the Eastern District of California.

March ARB fleet owners should also know that CARB has repealed the Advanced Clean Fleets Regulation - Drayage Fleet Requirements and High Priority and Federal Fleets Requirements.
