A town where building is the biggest employer
If your dump truck, water truck or flatbed spends its weeks on Riverside County job sites, it can stay parked at the yard or the lot where the crew leaves it, and we collect it there.
For a contractor’s truck, gather the title, the current California registration and any service records the office kept before you call. A short list of what the truck carried on those sites, whether fill, base rock or equipment, lets us ask the right questions about the body and the hydraulics on the first call.
Aggregates west of town
Quarries and gravel pits toward Corona
Records from the Mine Safety and Health Administration place four operations about 8.5 miles west of Woodcrest: the 3M sand and gravel site, Eagle Valley Aggregates, the 3M Corona Plant crushed-stone quarry and the Eagle Valley industrial-mineral mine. Belly dumps, end dumps and transfer trucks that run between those pits and local job sites are trucks we buy.
Should the truck be sitting at a quarry gate rather than at your house, give us the site name and a phone number for whoever controls access. We arrange the collection with the site itself, and you can stay home in Woodcrest.
North of town, the Riverside Operation mineral processing plant is 9.7 miles away in the Mine Safety and Health Administration listing. Haulers that split their loads between that plant and the western pits can be collected from either end; tell us which one it is closer to on the day you contact us.
Day cabs that shuttle loads to and from those rail yards are part of what we take in.
The LEHD job counts from the Census Bureau show 134 transportation and warehousing jobs and 62 wholesale trade jobs in Woodcrest in 2023. A tractor tied to that kind of freight work sells best with its VIN, the odometer reading and clear photos of the cab, frame and fifth wheel sent to us up front.
Dairy, mushrooms and cotton across the county
Feed trucks, milk tankers and farm flatbeds working those operations can be sold from the ranch where they are kept.
When a farm truck has spent years registered to the ranch rather than to a person, check whose name is on the title before you call. If the owner on paper has changed or passed away, say so at the start and we will tell you which documents the sale needs.
Titles, registration and California fleet rules
A lost California title is replaced through the state’s title agency, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and the duplicate should be in your hands before the truck changes owners. If you are still waiting on it, tell us; the rest of the sale can be lined up in the meantime.
California’s Advanced Clean Fleets requirements for drayage, high-priority and federal fleets have been repealed, the 2036 zero-emission sales requirement has its enforcement paused, and the Advanced Clean Trucks Regulation is contested. None of that changes what a Woodcrest owner needs to sell: a title in your name, the registration and the keys.
