Sell your semi truck for cash in Fort Carson the easy and convenient way

Just 2.8 miles south-east of Fort Carson, the FOUNTAIN fuel rack is on the Energy Information Administration’s register of petroleum product terminals. For a tanker or fuel tractor that loads there, give us the yard address and the name of whoever holds the keys when you first get in touch.

A second site, the COLORADO SPRINGS petroleum product terminal, lies 7.6 miles to the north-east according to the same Energy Information Administration listing. If your tractor has pulled fuel between the two racks, photograph the cab, the frame, the fifth wheel and the tank’s data plate, and put the title in the envelope with them before we arrive.

If tank test sheets or inspection stickers are kept in the cab of your fuel truck, keep them there. They travel with it and save you a phone call later.

Fountain Pit, a sand and gravel operation 3.4 miles south-east of town, appears in the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s mine register. For a dump truck or end-dump tractor parked at a pit that close to Fort Carson, tell us whether the gate is staffed and who can let us in.

Six miles north, Amrize Daniels Sand Pit # 1 & 2 is another sand and gravel operation on the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s list. A tri-axle or transfer truck from that pit can be collected right where it sits; send us the VIN, a photo of the odometer and a contact at the scale house.

Farther out, the Mine Safety and Health Administration records Menzer Quarry, a crushed-stone quarry 10.5 miles west, and Red Canyon Quarry, 12.3 miles south-west. A mixer or rock hauler parked at either quarry is collected from the quarry itself. Sign the title from home and leave the paperwork in the cab or with the quarry office.

On the Bureau of Transportation Statistics map of military installations, the Fort Carson post itself sits 9.8 miles south-west of the town’s center, and Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station lies 6.3 miles north-west. A truck parked near either gate is easy for us to reach, but a truck inside a fence needs an escort or a pass, so ask about access before you book a pickup.

Service members who are reassigned away from Fort Carson can still sell a truck they leave behind. Name someone local who can hand over the keys, sign the title wherever you are stationed, and post it or bring it to the collection.
