Bardmoor’s in-house haulers on the federal register
FMCSA’s carrier census lists 15 active motor carriers based in Bardmoor, and 12 of them are private fleets moving their own goods. If your tractor or box truck belonged to one of those in-house operations, have the title in the company’s name ready along with whoever can sign for the business.
Of those carriers, the federal census shows 12 working intrastate and only 2 registered for interstate hauling. A Florida-only truck usually stays parked near Bardmoor between runs, so give us the street address where it sits and we will arrange collection there.
Bardmoor operators listed in FMCSA’s carrier census include one fleet of 9 power units with 11 drivers, another of 7 units with 8 drivers, and a third of 5 and 5. Selling several units from a small fleet like that works the same as selling one: send a VIN and a few photos for each truck, and say which ones share a yard.
General freight, paper and moving vans
Seven local carriers declare general freight to FMCSA, four list paper products, two haul household goods and one carries beverages. Dry vans, straight trucks and moving vans fit that cargo list, and each one is the kind of truck we collect from Pinellas County owners.
If yours is a household goods van, photograph the box interior, the liftgate or ramp and the cab, and note the body length. For a paper-products tractor, a shot of the fifth wheel and the VIN plate tells us most of what we need before we call you back.
Driver records in FMCSA’s carrier census put 29 drivers within a 100-mile radius and 38 operating beyond it. Trucks that run longer lanes may be away from Bardmoor when you contact us, so tell us where the truck will be parked rather than where you live.
From the Pinellas rail spur to the tank farms at Port Tampa
The North American Rail Network from the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics places the St Petersburg rail yard 7.3 miles south-east of Bardmoor. A truck that shuttles to that yard is close to home, and we can pick it up from a lot near the tracks if that is where it is kept.
Across Old Tampa Bay, the Port Tampa Blending Terminal is 12.4 miles east and the Tampa Terminal 13.2 miles east, both petroleum product terminals on Energy Information Administration listings. Tank tractors that served those sites should come with any terminal access records or inspection reports you still hold.
Further east, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics records the CITGO Petroleum Corporation liquid bulk terminal at 19.5 miles, with the Port Tampa rail yard at 19.6 miles on the rail network maps. If your truck is parked over on that side of the bay, it does not need to cross back to Bardmoor; give us the gate contact and we will go to it.
Bases and cement
Military installations and a cement plant nearby
Pinellas Park AFRC lies 4.8 miles east of town and MacDill Air Force Base 15.4 miles east, both military installations named by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Trucks parked on or beside a base often need an escort or a pass for pickup, so tell us early who controls access.
The Mine Safety and Health Administration lists the Tampa Cement Grinding Plant 19.8 miles east. Mixer and bulk cement trucks that worked from that plant are welcome here too; bring the registration and any service records to the conversation, and send photos of the drum or trailer as well as the cab.
Contractor yards, wholesale routes and nursery beds
County Business Patterns from the Census Bureau counts 48 construction establishments in the area, and the LEHD job counts show 1,223 jobs located in Bardmoor in 2023. Dump trucks, flatbeds and utility bodies from contractors’ yards can be collected right where the crew parks them.
Wholesale trade accounts for 52 of those jobs, or 4.3 percent, according to the Census Bureau’s LODES figures. A wholesaler’s delivery truck is usually titled to the business, so check that the name on the title matches the company before you reach out.
USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture tallied 115 farms across Pinellas County, led by potted flowering plants, then honey and cattle, which puts nursery and beekeeping trucks within a short drive of Bardmoor. Nursery stake-bed trucks and livestock haulers from those farms are trucks we buy; note the body type and send a photo of the bed or trailer.

Add any maintenance log kept by the shop that serviced it.
