Sand and gravel west and south of Celebration
The Mine Safety and Health Administration lists Cypress Sand, a sand and gravel operation 7.2 miles west of Celebration, and the FLINT PLANT, another 8.1 miles south. A dump truck or end-dump trailer that hauls from either pit can be collected at the pit gate, at a yard or at your house; send us the address and a name for whoever holds the keys.
Construction accounts for 1,031 of the jobs counted in Celebration for 2023, or 7.3 percent, in the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts. If your truck hauls fill, aggregate or equipment to Osceola County sites, photograph the body, the hoist and the cab, and keep the title and registration together so the paperwork is ready when we arrange collection.
Tank work between Celebration and the ORLANDO and Heniff terminals
North-east of town, 13.4 miles out by the Energy Information Administration’s listing, stands the ORLANDO petroleum product terminal. Owners of tank trucks loading there should note the tank’s capacity and compartment count when they write to us, and include any tank inspection certificates they hold.
Heniff, a liquid bulk terminal, is 19.1 miles north-east of Celebration according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. A tractor or tanker trailer parked at a terminal lot can stay there; tell us who controls the gate and we will arrange pickup with them rather than asking you to move it.
The WEST and TAFT yards and container work
Two rail yards, WEST at 14.7 miles and TAFT at 14.8 miles, both lie north-east of town on the North American Rail Network maintained by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Day cabs that shuttle loads to and from those yards are trucks we purchase; give us the VIN and odometer reading first.
Two Celebration carriers list intermodal containers as cargo, per FMCSA’s carrier census. If your tractor or chassis has pulled boxes off the Taft or West yards, mention whether the chassis goes with the tractor so we know what to collect.
Celebration’s freight, passenger and timber carriers
FMCSA’s carrier census shows 19 active carriers based in Celebration: 9 haul general freight, 3 carry passengers and 2 move logs, poles, beams or lumber. Box trucks, buses, shuttles and log trailers are all on the list of what we take, and each needs its title in the seller’s name or a signed authority from the owner.
Of those 19, the same federal census records 16 as intrastate operations, 3 as interstate and 3 as private fleets. An intrastate truck that never left Florida still sells the same way: the Florida title, current registration and any service records are what we ask to see.
The three biggest local fleets in the FMCSA figures run 7, 5 and 2 power units. Selling several trucks at once from a fleet that size is one conversation, not three; list each unit’s VIN, and tell us whether they sit in one yard or several.
Seventeen drivers on Celebration carriers work within 100 miles and 27 work beyond that, by FMCSA’s carrier census. If your truck is out on a run past that radius, tell us where it will be parked next and we can collect it there.
Warehouse, plant and wholesale jobs in Celebration
LEHD job counts from the Census Bureau put 14,168 jobs in Celebration in 2023, with 54 in transportation and warehousing, 91 in manufacturing and 78 in wholesale trade. Delivery straight trucks and reefers working those warehouses and wholesalers can be sold from whichever lot or driveway they are kept in.
Those 78 wholesale trade jobs, 0.6 percent of the 2023 total in the same Census Bureau series, sit alongside 91 manufacturing positions at the same share. If a box truck or stake bed serves one of those employers under your name, have the title and the most recent registration to hand before you contact us.
Osceola County ranches and the naval training site
USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counts 353 farms in Osceola County, with cattle, honey and goats leading the list. Livestock trailers, flatbeds and farm trucks registered to a ranch can be collected on the property; tell us which gate to use and whether the truck is in a pasture or a barn.
The NG Orlando Naval Training Center, a military installation listed 16 miles north-east by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, rounds out the facilities around town. Whatever site your truck works, the photos we need are the same: all four sides, the cab interior, the dash with the odometer and the VIN plate.
