Sell your semi truck for cash in Christmas the easy and convenient way

Christmas sits in east Orange County between Orlando and the Space Coast, with a crushed-stone quarry a few miles south and the rail yards and port at Canaveral off to the east. The trucks registered here haul general freight, carry vehicles, collect refuse and deliver farm supplies.

Stone from two quarries below Christmas

S & L Materials Inc, a crushed-stone quarry the Mine Safety and Health Administration lists 6.6 miles south of Christmas, is the closest industrial site to town. A dump truck or tractor that runs aggregate out of that pit can stay parked at the yard or at your place when you sell it; give us the address and the gate details and we plan collection around them.

Farther out to the south-east, Rock Solid Rock, LLC appears in Mine Safety and Health Administration records as a second crushed-stone quarry, 11.9 miles away. Owners whose trucks split their week between the two pits should send photos of the bed, the frame and the cab, plus the VIN, and say which pit the truck works from.

Two Canaveral-area yards a mile apart, plus Cocoa

East of Christmas, the North American Rail Network kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics places the FRONTENAC yard 12.4 miles out and the CANAVERAL yard 12.5 miles to the north-east. A tractor that shuttles loads between those yards and the inland roads can be collected wherever it is staged, including a drop lot near the tracks.

Canaveral Port District sits 16.1 miles east by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics’ port listing, and the same agency records a rail intermodal ramp at Cocoa, 21.2 miles to the south-east. If your day cab or sleeper has pulled containers or chassis between the port and that ramp, have the registration and any service records ready so the paperwork travels with the truck.

Car haulers, roll-offs and general freight out of Christmas

Of the 31 active Christmas carriers in FMCSA’s carrier census, general freight is the cargo on 16. Eight carry motor vehicles, five haul garbage, refuse and trash, and four move farm supplies, so the trucks we collect here range from car haulers and roll-offs to box trucks and flatbeds.

Twenty-six of those 31 operate only inside Florida, while five run interstate and ten are private fleets, according to the same federal census. The biggest operations it records here run two power units each. A seller in Christmas is usually one owner with one or two trucks, and we deal with that owner directly.

Four new carriers registered in 2025 and none in 2024, by FMCSA’s count. If you started hauling recently and are selling the truck you began with, the title and current registration are the two documents to have in hand.

The federal motor carrier census shows 21 Christmas carriers with drivers working inside a 100-mile radius and 20 with drivers going farther. A truck on the farther runs may be parked away from town when you decide to sell; tell us where it will sit and we arrange pickup there.

Construction accounts for seven establishments here in the Census Bureau’s County Business Patterns. Dump bodies, flatbeds and service trucks from those firms are part of what we purchase, and a list of attached equipment helps us identify the truck correctly.

Nursery trucks from the Christmas greenhouse belt

Christmas lies in a county where USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counts 600 farms, led by foliage plants, propagative material and potted flowering plants. Growers and the four local carriers hauling farm supplies run box trucks and reefers between greenhouses, so a nursery truck can be collected right at the grower’s site.

For a farm-plated or nursery truck, send the title, the registration and clear photos of the box or body. If the truck was registered to the farm business, the person signing the title should be the one named on it.

University Boulevard

A duplicate at the University Boulevard service center

Christmas owners get Florida titles from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, whose counter work is done by county tax collector service centers and license plate agents. A 15.7-mile drive from Christmas reaches the Orange County motor vehicle service center - Orlando, at 10051 University Blvd., Orlando, 32817, on the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles’ office list.

A missing title is the one gap that holds up a sale. Ask that University Boulevard office for a duplicate, and bring the registration and your ID; once the replacement is in your hands, send us a photo of it with the VIN showing.

Annex and research lab

Base traffic on the Orlando side

Naval Logistics Support Annex Orlando sits 12.7 miles west of Christmas, and the Army Research Lab’s Orlando Simulations and Training Technology Center sits 12.8 miles in the same direction, per the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.

If your truck makes deliveries on that western side, it can be collected from a job site, a yard in east Orlando or your driveway in Christmas; we only need the location and a phone number for whoever holds the keys.
