Spring Hill stone and the pits beyond
Georgia Stone Spring Hill Quarry, which mine safety regulators at the Mine Safety and Health Administration record as crushed stone, lies 5.7 miles up the road to the north. A dump truck or tractor that hauls aggregate out of there is likely sitting at a home lot or a yard close to that road when we come for it, so send the address where it is parked rather than where you live.
Further out, Central State Aggregates LLC is a crushed-stone quarry 12.5 miles south-east, and the County Line Mine, an industrial-mineral site, lies 10.8 miles north-west, both on Mine Safety and Health Administration records. If your truck worked either pit, have the title and current registration in hand, plus a few photos of the bed, the frame and the cab, before you call.
Brooksville cement and the north road
Nineteen point six miles north, the Brooksville South Cement Plant appears in the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s list of nearby operations. Bulk tankers and mixers that load there may be kept near the plant between runs; tell us where the truck is parked so we route the pickup to it.
Owners who ran cement or stone loads for a contractor should keep any service records or scale tickets that show the work the truck did. They are not required, but they let us ask fewer questions about a unit that spent its days between a plant and a job site.
Rail ramp and fuel terminals at Tampa
About 24.5 miles south, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics places the Tampa rail intermodal ramp, and the North American Rail Network lists the UCETA rail yard at 24.6 miles in the same direction. A day cab that pulls containers off those tracks can be collected wherever it is kept, in Connerton or down near the yard.
Two petroleum product terminals, TAMPA NORTH and TAMPA PT YBOR FL ASPHALT, sit 24.6 miles south according to the Energy Information Administration. If your tractor pulled tank or asphalt trailers from them, tell us whether the trailer is part of the sale and have the VIN of each unit ready.
In-state hauling and small Pasco fleets
FMCSA’s carrier census counts 16 active carriers based here, and 13 of them run intrastate only, against 3 that cross state lines. For a Florida-only operation, the title and Florida registration are the documents we work from, and a lost title is replaced through Florida’s state title agency before the sale closes.
Of those 16, five are private fleets hauling their own goods, according to the same federal census. The biggest operation on FMCSA’s list runs 4 power units and 4 drivers, and the next two run 2 each; if you are selling one or two trucks, park them at one address and we can see both on the same visit.
New authority keeps arriving: FMCSA’s records show 4 carriers registered in 2025 and 2 in 2024. If you started hauling recently and are now selling, bring your USDOT number along with the title so the paperwork lines up.
Freight, lumber, coil and utility work
General freight is the cargo listed by 7 Connerton carriers in FMCSA’s carrier census, logs, poles, beams and lumber by 5, and metal sheets, coils and rolls by 3. Flatbed tractors and log trucks are as likely here as box trucks, so tell us the body type and trailer setup when you first reach out.
Utility work is listed by 3 local carriers in that same federal census. Bucket trucks, digger derricks and service bodies count as commercial trucks to us; send photos of the upfit as well as the chassis, and any inspection paperwork the boom or lift carries.
Contractor work and Pasco cattle, horse and nursery farms
The Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts put 623 jobs in Connerton in 2023, with 121 in construction, a 19.4 percent share, and 59 in manufacturing. Eleven construction establishments appear for Connerton in County Business Patterns. Contractor-owned dump trucks, flatbeds and pickups with commercial bodies are the kinds of vehicles that work like that keeps on the road, and we take them one at a time.
Across Pasco County, USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counts 1,190 farms, with cattle, horses and potted flowering plants at the top. Livestock haulers, stake beds and nursery delivery trucks from those farms can be picked up on the property; give us the gate location and whether a loaded trailer will be attached.
The questions we get asked in Connerton
- Will you pick up a truck parked at a quarry near Connerton?Georgia Stone Spring Hill Quarry is 5.7 miles north and Central State Aggregates LLC is 12.5 miles south-east, per the Mine Safety and Health Administration, and we collect from sites like those as well as from home lots. Tell us who controls access to the gate.
- The title for my Connerton truck is missing - who issues a new one?A truck registered at a Connerton address carries a Florida title, and the duplicate is issued by Florida’s state title agency. Start that request before arranging pickup, and send us the VIN in the meantime.
- My truck never leaves Florida - can you still take it?Thirteen of the 16 active Connerton carriers in FMCSA’s carrier census are intrastate-only, so a Florida-only truck is the usual case here. Your Florida registration and title are what we need.
- Do you buy log trucks and flatbeds?Five Connerton carriers list logs, poles, beams and lumber in FMCSA’s carrier census, and three list metal coils; log trucks and flatbed tractors from that work are on our list. Photograph the log bunks or the flat deck as well as the tractor itself.
