Dump trucks and mixers on the Pennsuco side
The Mine Safety and Health Administration lists FEC Quarry 5.4 miles south-west of Country Club and White Rock Quarries 5.5 miles west, both producing crushed stone. A dump truck or end-dump tractor that has been loading at either pit may still be parked out by the quarry gate, and that is where we can pick it up; send us the yard address and the name of whoever holds the key.
Pennsuco Cement Plant, 5.7 miles to the south-west on the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s list, is the other draw for heavy trucks on that edge of the county. If you run a bulk cement trailer or a mixer that works between the plant and job sites, photograph the drum or the tank as well as the cab and the plate, and keep the Florida registration in the glovebox for collection day.
Hialeah yards, the Miami ramp and a liquid bulk terminal
Two rail yards sit close by on the North American Rail Network, kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics: Hialeah (CSXT) 6.3 miles to the south-east and Hialeah (FEC) 8.2 miles to the south. Container chassis tractors that shuttle out of either yard can be sold from wherever they are parked between moves, so tell us which yard the tractor works and give us the VIN.
Seven miles and a bit south, at 7.3 miles, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics places the Miami rail intermodal ramp, and it counts the Norfolk Southern TBT liquid bulk terminal 8.1 miles to the south-east. If your tractor has pulled tankers or boxes off those sites, list the trailer types it has coupled to and attach a photo of the fifth wheel, so we know what the tractor was set up for.
NG Snake Creek TS Miramar, a military installation 1.6 miles north on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics’ list, is the nearest named site of all. A truck kept close to it may sit behind a controlled gate, so tell us early who can let us in.
The carriers based around Country Club
FMCSA’s carrier census shows 902 active carriers based here, and 622 of them list general freight among their cargo. Box trucks, day cabs and dry vans are the bulk of what that produces, and every one sells the same way: the title in your name, the registration, and four photos taken in daylight.
Car haulers stand out next, with 103 carriers on FMCSA’s census hauling motor vehicles, while refrigerated food and meat each count 88. If yours is a reefer unit, photograph the refrigeration unit’s hour meter alongside the odometer, and if it is a car carrier, include a shot of the ramps folded up.
Most of these operations stay in Florida: the federal carrier census records 697 intrastate carriers against 205 interstate, plus 114 private fleets that haul their own goods. A private-fleet truck can still be sold to us, but the person signing the title needs to be the one the company has authorised to sign.
Local outfits run lean: in the federal carrier census the three widest rosters hold 16, 11 and 10 power units. An owner-operator or a two-truck outfit is the usual seller here, so you can handle the sale yourself without a fleet manager in the loop.
Model years and annual mileage on Country Club rigs
Roadside inspection records from FMCSA cover 291 trucks from Country Club carriers checked between September 2024 and August 2026, with a median model year of 2014 and 60.5 percent ten or more years old. Whatever year your truck is, tell us the model year and the engine on the first call so the right questions follow.
Among the 168 carriers that report mileage to FMCSA, the median truck covers 45,000 miles a year. Read the odometer before you call and have the service log handy; if the log sits with a shop, ask them for a printout.
Construction, wholesale and the nurseries
The Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts (LODES) put 8,182 jobs in Country Club in 2023, with 412 in construction and 378 in wholesale trade. Building contractors are a big part of that, with 135 construction establishments on the Census Bureau’s County Business Patterns. Flatbeds, dump trucks and stake bodies from that trade can be collected from a job site as easily as from a driveway.
Across Miami-Dade County, USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counts 2,664 farms, led by foliage plants, potted flowering plants and cut flowers and greens. A box truck or reefer that has delivered nursery stock can be sold with its liftgate or shelving in place; just mention what is fitted so it appears on the paperwork.
The questions we get asked in Country Club
- My dump truck sits at the White Rock quarry yard west of town; does it have to come home first? It can stay put: White Rock Quarries is 5.5 miles west of Country Club according to the Mine Safety and Health Administration, and we collect from the quarry yard once you give us the gate contact.
- Will you pick up a chassis tractor parked by the CSXT rail yard in Hialeah? The North American Rail Network shows Hialeah (CSXT) 6.3 miles south-east of Country Club, and the tractor can be picked up from the yard or the lot where you park it between moves.
