Sell your semi truck for cash in North Miami the easy and convenient way

North Miami sits in Miami-Dade County between the Hialeah rail yards and the Port of Miami docks, and the trucks registered here haul general freight, vehicles, household moves and fresh produce across that corridor.

Selling a truck in North Miami? Tell us about it and we'll take it from there.

If your box truck or tractor has run general loads around the county, have the title and current registration in hand before you contact us; those two papers settle most of the first conversation.

Car haulers are a real share of the city’s trucking: 81 carriers in the FMCSA carrier census list motor vehicles as cargo. If you are selling a car-hauler tractor, tell us whether the trailer goes with it or stays behind, and send one photo of each unit so we know exactly what is being collected.

Movers and produce haulers also show up in the federal register, with 80 carriers carrying household goods and 51 carrying fresh produce according to FMCSA. For a reefer unit or a moving van, list the body type and the reefer make in your first message; we ask about equipment, not about the loads it carried.

Mostly intrastate work, with a long-haul minority

Of the North Miami carriers in FMCSA’s census, 497 operate intrastate only, 174 cross state lines and 144 run as private fleets hauling their own goods. A Florida-only truck still needs the same papers as an interstate one, so gather the title, registration and any service records you kept regardless of where it ran.

Drivers working within 100 miles number 607 in the carrier census FMCSA keeps, while 657 drivers run beyond that radius. If your truck is out on a long run right now, tell us when it will be back in Miami-Dade County, or where it will be parked, and we plan the pickup at that spot.

Among the 71 carriers here that reported mileage, the median truck covered 38,000 miles a year, per the federal motor carrier census. Give us the odometer reading as it stands today along with the VIN; that pair answers most of our questions before we ask them.

Have the model year and engine make ready when you reach out, since those two details go on every purchase we write up.

Those same FMCSA roadside inspection records show 39.7 percent of the inspected trucks were ten or more model years old. Whatever year your truck is, send clear photos of the cab, the frame, the tires and the data plate on the door jamb.

The three biggest fleets on the FMCSA register here run 32, 22 and 19 power units. If you are selling several trucks from one operation, list each VIN on a single sheet so every title can be matched to its unit when we arrive.

Rail yards and the Port of Miami to the south

The North American Rail Network, maintained by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, places the Hialeah CSXT yard 6.3 miles south-west of North Miami and the Hialeah FEC yard 10.3 miles out. If your drayage tractor is parked near either yard, give us the lot address and a contact who can let us in.

Nine miles south, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics lists the POMTOC rail intermodal ramp at the Port of Miami, with the port’s roll-on/roll-off terminal at 9.1 miles. A container tractor that works the port can be collected where it sits; you do not need to drive it up to North Miami first.

Tank work runs close by too: per the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, the Norfolk Southern TBT liquid bulk terminal is 7.2 miles south-west, and the Energy Information Administration lists the Fisher Island petroleum product terminal 7.7 miles south. If your tractor pulled tank trailers between them, say whether a trailer is part of the sale.

Construction, wholesale and nursery hauling

Census Bureau LEHD job counts for 2023 put 13,803 jobs in North Miami, with 509 of them in construction and 426 in wholesale trade. Dump trucks, flatbeds and box trucks from that work are all trucks we collect, so tell us the body type and whether any attachments stay with it.

If your truck is parked on a job site rather than at home, tell us the site address and who controls access, and we will arrange the collection with them.

A reefer or box truck that hauled nursery stock is one we buy; include photos of the body interior along with the cab.
