Quikrete and Molino: two pits, one pickup
Just 4.4 miles east of Pea Ridge, the Quikrete Mine digs sand and gravel under a Mine Safety and Health Administration registration. A dump truck or end-dump tractor that has hauled from that pit can be collected at the yard, at your house or wherever it last unloaded; send us the street address or a pin drop along with the VIN.
Farther out, the Mine Safety and Health Administration also records Molino Pit, 17.9 miles north-west of town. If your truck splits its loads between Molino and the Quikrete site, mention both when you get in touch. Include photos of the bed, the hoist, the cab and the data plate with that first message.
Fuel tractors bound for PENSACOLA TPSI
PENSACOLA TPSI, a petroleum product terminal on the Energy Information Administration’s list, is 15.3 miles south-west of Pea Ridge. Trans Montaigne, a liquid bulk terminal the Bureau of Transportation Statistics records 15.4 miles out in the same direction, is next door to it. Tractors that pull fuel trailers to and from those two sites are trucks we buy, with or without the trailer.
For a tanker sale, gather the title, the current registration and any tank inspection certificates you hold before you call. Those documents travel with the tractor or trailer at pickup, so having them in one folder means nothing gets left behind in a cab or an office drawer.
GOULDING and PENSACOLA yards to the south-west
Two rail yards appear on the North American Rail Network kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics: GOULDING, 12.5 miles south-west, and PENSACOLA, 15.6 miles south-west. Day cabs that shuttle freight between those yards and customers around Milton and Pace fit what we purchase.
If your tractor is parked at a yard gate or inside a fenced lot near GOULDING, give us the name of whoever controls access and a phone number for them. We set the collection time with that person directly, so you do not have to be standing there when the truck leaves.
Module haulers and cattle pots from Santa Rosa farms
USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counts 732 farms in Santa Rosa County, with cotton, cattle and equine ranked first, second and third. Module haulers, cattle pots and horse trailer rigs used on those operations are all welcome here.
A farm truck often sits in a barn or a back pasture between seasons, and that is fine with us. Tell us whether the gate is locked, whether the ground is firm enough for a tow rig in wet weather, and who on the property can meet the driver.
Crews and airfields
Construction jobs and the two naval airfields
Dump trucks, flatbeds and service bodies tied to those crews can be sold from a job site as easily as from a driveway.
The Bureau of Transportation Statistics lists NOLF Spencer 3 miles north-west of Pea Ridge and NAS Whiting Field Milton FL 9.1 miles north-east. If your truck is stored near either airfield’s perimeter roads, give us the nearest public road and cross street, since a driver cannot be routed onto a base.
The questions we get asked in Pea Ridge
- My dump truck stays parked at Molino Pit between loads - will your driver pick it up from the pit itself?Molino Pit is 17.9 miles north-west of Pea Ridge on the Mine Safety and Health Administration register, and we pick up from pits like it. Send the site address and the name of the person who can let our driver through.
- The title for my Pea Ridge truck has gone missing - who issues a replacement? For a truck registered in Pea Ridge, the duplicate comes from the state’s title agency, and the request is yours to file as the owner. Start that request before you contact us, and tell us it is under way so the paperwork can catch up with the pickup.
- Do you take tractors that pulled fuel from the Pensacola terminals?Tractors from PENSACOLA TPSI, which the Energy Information Administration places 15.3 miles south-west of Pea Ridge, and from Trans Montaigne beside it are part of what we buy. Have the title and registration ready, and say whether the tank trailer is included.
