Bayside tank farms
Tank work across the bay at Port Tampa
The Energy Information Administration lists the Port Tampa Blending Terminal 15.8 miles east of Ridgecrest and the Tampa Terminal 16.6 miles east, both petroleum product terminals. If your tractor pulled a fuel tanker between those gates and Pinellas County stations, tell us which terminals it loaded at and send the VIN with photos of the cab, frame and fifth wheel.
A little further along the same shore, the CITGO Petroleum Corporation liquid bulk terminal sits 22.3 miles east, per the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. A tanker or tractor that has worked out of there can stay parked where it is; give us the street address, the name of whoever holds the gate key and the hours that lot is open, and we plan the collection around those details.
Gulf coast rail
Freight yards south-east and east of Ridgecrest
Drive 11.2 miles south-east of Ridgecrest and you reach the St Petersburg rail yard, as mapped in the North American Rail Network kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Day cabs that shuttle freight between that yard and Pinellas warehouses are trucks we purchase, so note the cab type and axle setup when you first write to us.
That same rail network record places the Port Tampa yard 22.2 miles east, on the far side of the bay. When a truck has been working the Port Tampa side and you live in Ridgecrest, you do not need to drive it home first; send us its location and a contact on site, and keep the title and current registration in your own hands until pickup.
Tampa cement hauls
Mixers and dump trucks near the cement plant
The Mine Safety and Health Administration lists the Tampa Cement Grinding Plant 22.5 miles east of Ridgecrest. Mixers, bulk cement trailers and dump trucks that hauled from that plant to Pinellas job sites fit what we buy; photograph the drum or body along with the chassis plate.
Plant visits usually leave a paper trail of site passes and service sheets. Gather any service records or inspection reports you kept for a mixer or dump truck from the Tampa plant runs and put them in one folder with the title for the day we collect.
Contractor rigs between Pinellas Park AFRC and MacDill
Two military installations on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics list fall inside a short drive: Pinellas Park AFRC at 8.4 miles east and MacDill Air Force Base at 18.9 miles east. Contractors who keep box trucks or flatbeds for base work around them can sell those units through us as well.
If a contractor truck is stored behind a base gate or in a secured yard near Pinellas Park, move it to an open lot first or arrange escorted access, then tell us where it will be waiting. Have the registration card in the cab and the signed title ready for the day we come.
Greenhouse and hive
Nursery, honey and cattle trucks in Pinellas County
Pinellas County counted 115 farms in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture, with potted flowering plants, honey and cattle at the top of its list. Box trucks that carry nursery stock, flatbeds loaded with hives and stock trucks are all welcome here.
A farm truck in Ridgecrest is often parked at a greenhouse, an apiary or a pasture gate rather than a paved yard. Tell us the ground it sits on and whether a tow truck can reach it, and include photos of the bed, racks or reefer unit so we see the truck as the farm uses it.
Replacing a missing title before a Ridgecrest pickup
A missing title in Pinellas County is replaced through the state’s title agency, so start that request before you list the truck with us. A lien on the title needs a release letter from the lender; send a copy alongside the VIN.
With the title, registration and photos ready, one message gets the process moving. Tell us the street in or around Ridgecrest where the truck is parked and a phone number for whoever can show it.
