Stone east of town
Quarry trucks off the Pasco County stone pits
The Mine Safety and Health Administration lists a crushed-stone quarry just 1.3 miles east of Wesley Chapel, so a dump truck parked at that pit is effectively parked in town. If your tandem or tri-axle is sitting in a quarry lot, tell us which gate it is behind and who holds the key, and we will arrange collection with the site.
A second pit, the Kathleen Mine, appears in Mine Safety and Health Administration records 13.8 miles east of the city. Owners hauling aggregate between the two stone operations should have the Florida title in hand and a few clear photos of the bed, cab and VIN plate before calling us.
Construction work in Wesley Chapel accounts for 712 jobs on the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts for 2023, and County Business Patterns from the Census Bureau records 125 construction establishments. Contractors selling a dump body, a roll-off or a flatbed from a job yard can send the registration and the VIN first; everything else follows from those two.
South to Tampa
Rail ramps, tank terminals and the haul toward Tampa
The Tampa intermodal ramp sits 17.4 miles south of Wesley Chapel according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, and the North American Rail Network places the UCETA and YEOMAN yards at 17.6 and 17.7 miles in the same direction. Day cabs that pull containers or chassis off those yards are trucks we purchase; give us the VIN and where the tractor is parked between loads.
Further toward the bay, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics lists the Transflo CSXT liquid bulk terminal 18.7 miles south-west, and the Energy Information Administration counts two petroleum product terminals, TAMPA NORTH and TAMPA PT YBOR FL ASPHALT, each about 19 miles away. If your tractor has pulled tankers or asphalt trailers out of those sites, keep any terminal inspection paperwork with the title so it travels with the sale.
A truck that runs those Tampa routes but lives at a yard in Pasco County does not have to be driven anywhere. Tell us the street address, whether a loaded trailer is still coupled, and the best time to reach the lot.
Small carriers, general freight and car haulers
General freight is the cargo listed by 333 of the 517 Wesley Chapel carriers active in FMCSA’s carrier census. If yours is a box truck, straight truck or tractor hauling dry goods, start with the title and a set of photos.
Car haulers show up too: the federal carrier census records 65 Wesley Chapel carriers hauling motor vehicles, 45 moving machinery and large objects, and 44 handling household goods. Whether it is a wedge trailer rig, a lowboy tractor or a moving van, note the trailer setup when you write to us so the pickup crew brings the right equipment.
Operations here stay mostly inside Florida, with FMCSA listing 372 intrastate carriers, 144 interstate and 100 private fleets. FMCSA’s census lists no Wesley Chapel fleet above eight power units, so if you own your truck outright you can sign the title yourself.
Wesley Chapel carriers had 122 trucks pulled in for roadside checks from September 2024 to August 2026, and those FMCSA roadside inspection records put the middle model year at 2017. Whatever year your truck is, have the VIN ready and send it with your first message.
Those same roadside inspection records put 41 percent of inspected trucks at ten or more model years old. If you have a recent inspection report, attach it alongside the registration and the title.
Among 80 carriers reporting mileage to FMCSA, the median truck logs 35,465 miles a year, and the carrier census counts 434 drivers working within 100 miles and 505 beyond. Write down the current odometer reading when you photograph the dashboard.
Recently registered carriers and farm country
Wesley Chapel added 34 freshly registered carriers in 2024 and 47 in 2025, by the count in FMCSA’s carrier census. If your authority is new and the truck is financed, tell us the lender’s name at the start so the lien release can be worked into the paperwork.
Pasco County had 1,190 farms in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture, with cattle, equine and potted flowering plants leading the list. Livestock haulers, horse-trailer tractors and nursery delivery trucks from the county’s pastures and greenhouses are welcome; we collect them from the farm itself.
Wholesale trade adds 549 jobs and transportation and warehousing 317, per the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts for 2023. A warehouse operator retiring a straight truck or a yard tractor can send us the title, registration and a photo of each side.
