Pits east and north of Woodlawn Beach
A dump truck or end-dump tractor that has hauled aggregate out of that pit can be sold from wherever it sits, whether that is a yard on the east side of the county or a driveway in town. Give us the street address and say whether a loaded tow truck can reach it.
Owners whose trucks have run between that site and job sites along the sound should gather the title, the current registration and any scale tickets or service logs they kept. Send those papers with clear photos of the bed, the hoist and the cab when you first write to us.
Thirteen point seven miles west, the Energy Information Administration lists PENSACOLA TPSI as a petroleum product terminal, and at that same distance the Bureau of Transportation Statistics records Trans Montaigne as a liquid bulk terminal. Tank tractors and fuel delivery trucks that load at those racks are on our list. When you get in touch, name the terminal the truck pulled from and send the VIN, so we know the unit before we discuss pickup.
Two rail yards sit just beyond the terminals: GOULDING at 14.8 miles and PENSACOLA at 14.9 miles, both west of town according to the North American Rail Network kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. A day cab that has worked drayage or yard moves around those tracks may be parked near the yard rather than at home. If so, tell us whose property it is on and who can let our driver through the gate.
Navy fields
NOLF Holley, a military installation in the Bureau of Transportation Statistics listings, is 6.7 miles east of Woodlawn Beach, and NOLF Choctaw is 8.5 miles north. Contractors who have run service trucks, flatbeds or water trucks onto either field can sell those vehicles to us without bringing them anywhere first.
Base access rules mean a truck still parked inside a gate is harder to reach. Before you contact us, move the truck to a spot off the installation if you can, or tell us plainly that it is inside so the collection can be set up with whoever controls entry.
Contractors closing out a crew, or an owner-operator retiring a dump truck, a stake bed or a crew-cab hauler, can reach us with the year, make and model to start.
Smaller construction trucks are often titled to a business rather than a person. Check whose name is on the title before we talk, and if it lists a company, have the paperwork showing who may sign for it. That keeps the sale from stalling at the signature line.
USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counts 732 farms in Santa Rosa County, with cotton, cattle and equine operations at the top of the county’s list. Grain trucks, livestock haulers and the flatbeds that move hay or module cotton all fall within what we buy.
A farm truck often sits in a barn lot or a field edge rather than on pavement. Send us a pin or directions to the gate, mention any soft ground near it, and include photos of the VIN plate and the title so the details line up from the first call.
If yours is lost or still shows a lienholder, the state’s title agency is the office that issues a replacement or records the release, so start that request before the truck is collected.
Alongside the title, keep the current registration and whatever maintenance or inspection records you have in the cab. When papers are missing, tell us at the start; we will say which ones the sale actually depends on.
