West on Fall Creek
Gravel pits a few minutes from the Ingalls town line
Fall Creek Sand & Gravel lies 3.3 miles west of Ingalls according to the Mine Safety and Health Administration, close enough that a tandem or tri-axle dump could be parked at the pit rather than at home. If yours sits on a pit lot, tell us whose ground it is on and who can let our driver through the gate, and we will plan the collection around that person.
Following the creek further west, Noblesville Sand & Gravel is listed by the Mine Safety and Health Administration at 12.6 miles out. A truck split between the two operations may have paperwork in two places; gather the registration, the title and any scale tickets or service invoices into one folder before you call, so nothing has to be hunted down later.
Crushed rock loaded north of Ingalls
North-east toward Pendleton, the Mine Safety and Health Administration records Pendleton Quarry, a crushed-stone operation 6.7 miles from Ingalls. Haulers that load rock there are welcome; send clear photos of the body, the hoist, the frame rails and the cab interior along with the VIN, so our questions start from what we can already see.
IMI Stony Creek Stone Co, another crushed-stone quarry, is 9 miles north-west on the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s list. If the truck carries a quarry decal or site permit, mention it, and tell us whether it can be started and moved on its own or will need to be loaded where it stands.
Yards and a tank farm
Two rail yards and a fuel stop west of town
The North American Rail Network, kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, places the South Anderson yard 10.6 miles north-east of Ingalls and the Hawthorne yard 20.3 miles to the south-west. Day cabs that shuttle between those yards and local docks can be collected at a terminal lot; give us the yard address and a contact on site.
Westward, the Energy Information Administration lists the Jolietville petroleum product terminal 22.8 miles from town. For a tanker tractor or a straight truck that loaded there, include the tank or trailer details in your message and say whether the trailer goes with the sale or stays behind.
South-east, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics shows NG Knightstown, a military installation, roughly 20 miles away. A truck parked on any controlled site needs an escort or a gate pass arranged ahead of pickup, so name the person who can sign us in.
Grain trucks and livestock haulers off Ingalls farms
Around Ingalls and across the rest of the county, 682 farms were counted in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture, with corn, soybeans and cattle at the top of the list. Grain trucks, hopper tractors and cattle pots that sit in a machine shed between harvests are trucks we purchase, and we collect from the farm itself.
Farm trucks are often titled in a parent’s or a partnership’s name. Check that the name on the title matches the person signing, and if it does not, have the other owner ready to sign or a written authorisation on hand before the day of pickup.
Ingalls wholesale yards
Wholesale work inside town limits
In 2023 the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts (LODES) put 468 jobs inside Ingalls, and wholesale trade accounted for 66 of them, a 14.1 percent share. Box trucks and delivery tractors from a wholesale yard are part of what we buy, single units or several at once.
Selling more than one truck from a business lot? Send a list with each VIN, the body type and where each one is parked, and say who in the business is authorised to sign the titles, so every unit is handled in one visit.
McCordsville BMV branch for a missing title
A lost Indiana title is replaced by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, whose duplicate title application is handled through its BMV branches. The nearest to Ingalls is the McCordsville branch at 8880 North County Road 600 West, McCordsville, 46055, 6.9 miles away by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles’ own branch list.
Start that duplicate request before you contact us if the title is gone, and bring your ID and the truck’s VIN to the branch. If a lender still holds the title, tell us the lender’s name so the lien release can be arranged as part of the sale.
