Sharonville’s ramp and yard, under six miles away
The Bureau of Transportation Statistics places the Cincinnati, OH - Sharonville intermodal ramp 5.5 miles south of Beckett Ridge, and the North American Rail Network puts the Sharonville rail yard just past it at 5.7 miles. A day cab or sleeper that pulls containers off that ramp is one we buy; if yours is parked near the yard between loads, give us the lot address and we collect it there.
Eight miles north-west, the New River rail yard appears in the same North American Rail Network listing from the Federal Railroad Administration. Owners whose tractor shuttles between New River and Sharonville should send the VIN, a photo of the door plate and a note of which yard it usually sits at, so the pickup is planned around the right gate.
Todhunter, Cincinnati North and the tank work around them
Todhunter Terminal, a petroleum product terminal 8.3 miles north, and Cincinnati North, 12.4 miles south, both appear in Energy Information Administration records. If your tanker or tractor loads at either rack, keep its hazmat placarding paperwork and any tank test certificates with the title; they show us what the unit has hauled.
Further south, Heniff Transportation’s liquid bulk terminal sits 14.5 miles from Beckett Ridge on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics list. A tank trailer or tractor that has worked that terminal can stay where it is; tell us whose yard holds it and who can sign the truck out on the day.
Aggregate west of town
Two gravel pits west toward Fairfield
The Mine Safety and Health Administration lists Miami Valley Topsoil 7.8 miles west and Fairfield Gravel 8.7 miles west, both sand and gravel operations. Dump trucks and tri-axles that haul out of those pits are on our list, and photos of the bed, the hoist and the cab together let us see the whole unit before we talk.
Contractors are a steady presence too: the Census Bureau’s County Business Patterns puts 93 construction establishments in and around Beckett Ridge. If a contractor’s dump truck or flatbed is parked at a jobsite rather than at home, send the site address with the plate number and registration and we arrange collection at that spot.
Freight, paper and produce carriers
FMCSA’s carrier census shows 480 active carriers based in Beckett Ridge, 404 of them hauling general freight, 62 paper products, 58 fresh produce and 57 refrigerated food. For a reefer, photograph its refrigeration unit hours displayed, along with the trailer’s spec plate if the trailer is part of the sale.
FMCSA’s carrier census also splits them into 379 interstate carriers, 96 intrastate carriers and 67 private fleets. A private fleet selling a truck it used for its own goods should have the title in the company’s name and someone authorised to sign it; an interstate operator should bring the cab card along with the title.
Beckett Ridge added 38 newly registered carriers in 2024 and then 58 in 2025, per that same FMCSA census. If you started your authority recently and the truck is still financed, tell us the lender’s name at the start so the lien release can be arranged alongside the paperwork.
Miles and trucks
Long routes and a recent fleet
Driver counts filed with the FMCSA put 10,232 drivers on routes beyond 100 miles and 945 inside that radius for carriers here. With most drivers on long runs, the truck may be in another state when you decide to sell; tell us where it will be parked and when, and we work to that location.
Across 191 Beckett Ridge carriers that report mileage to FMCSA, the median comes to 54,000 miles per truck. Have a current odometer photo ready alongside the VIN, as those two readings anchor every other question we ask.
Of the 1,451 Beckett Ridge trucks stopped for FMCSA roadside inspections from August 2024 to August 2026, the median model year was 2020 and 16.95 percent had reached ten years or more. Whatever the model year, service records and the most recent annual inspection report help us match the truck to what you describe.
Wholesale jobs, warehouses and Butler County farms
The Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts for 2023 list 7,146 jobs here, with wholesale trade at 1,296, or 18.1 percent, transportation and warehousing at 492, manufacturing at 295 and construction at 120. Box trucks and straight trucks that deliver for wholesalers are trucks we buy, and a lift gate or reefer body should show in the photos you send.
Butler County’s 888 farms, led by corn, soybeans and hogs, are tallied in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture. A grain truck or livestock hauler that sits on a farm outside town can be collected from the farmyard; send the title, the registration and directions to where it is parked.
Eleven warehousing establishments operate around Beckett Ridge according to County Business Patterns. If your truck is kept at a warehouse dock, let the site manager know we are coming and give us a contact who can open the gate.
