Queensgate
Rail yards four to five miles east of Cheviot
The North American Rail Network, kept by the Federal Railroad Administration with the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, places the QUEENSGATE rail yard 4.2 miles east of Cheviot and QUEENSGATE INTERMODAL 4.8 miles to the south-east. A day cab that shuttles boxes between those two and a lot in Cheviot is the kind of tractor we collect. Send the VIN, the odometer reading and a few photos of the cab and fifth wheel, and say which yard it pulls from.
Separately, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics lists two intermodal ramps close by: Cincinnati, OH - Queensgate Yard at 4.7 miles south-east, and Cincinnati, OH - Gest Street at 5.3 miles in the same direction. If your tractor is parked near Gest Street rather than at home on a Cheviot side street, give us that address instead; we pick up wherever it sits, so you do not have to move it first.
Tank work at the liquid bulk and fuel docks
Watco Terminal and Port Services and Growmark Fertilizer both appear in Bureau of Transportation Statistics records as liquid bulk terminals, each 4.9 miles south-west of town. Tractors that pull tank trailers in and out of docks like those are on our list. Tell us whether the trailer goes with the sale or stays behind, since that changes what we arrange for the pickup.
Two petroleum product terminals named CINCINNATI are listed by the Energy Information Administration, one 5 miles south-west of Cheviot and one 5.6 miles due south. A fuel tractor kept near either one may still be inside a gated terminal lot. Give us the name of whoever controls that gate and a phone number for them, so the collection can be booked with the right person on site.
Dump trucks and flatbeds for Cheviot crews
Census Bureau LEHD job counts (LODES) put 1,560 jobs inside Cheviot in 2023. The same LEHD counts show 108 of them, or 6.9 percent, in construction. Dump trucks, flatbeds and service bodies that support those crews are trucks we buy, whether they belong to one owner or to a small outfit.
If a construction truck is sitting at a job site instead of a yard, that is fine; we can collect it there. Have the title in hand, the current registration, and any service records the shop kept, and send photos of the body and the bed as well as the cab.
Corn, soybeans, cattle
Farm trucks from across the county
USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counts 322 farms in Hamilton County, where corn, soybeans and cattle lead the list. Grain trucks, livestock haulers and straight trucks off those farms are welcome here, and they do not need to come into Cheviot to be sold.
Farm trucks often stay registered to a farm business rather than a person. When the title names the farm, tell us who signs for it, and have that person ready with an ID. Photos of the bed or the stock rack, plus the VIN, are enough for us to get started.
What to gather before we talk
A clean set of documents makes a Cheviot pickup simple: the Ohio title in the seller’s name, the registration, and any inspection or maintenance logs that came with the truck. If a lender still holds a lien, have the lender’s name and your account details ready so the release can be arranged.
If the title has gone missing, start on a duplicate from Ohio’s title agency before the sale. Tell us at the start if that is in progress, and we will plan the rest around it.
