A third of Hebron’s jobs sit on factory floors
Manufacturing accounts for 958 of the 2,867 jobs located in Hebron, a 33.4 percent share on the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts for 2023. If your tractor or box truck has spent its days shuttling between those plants, have the title, the current registration and any service records together before you call, and tell us which plant gate it usually sits behind.
Transportation and warehousing hold 97 positions here and wholesale trade another 64, according to the same Census Bureau LEHD figures. A straight truck kept at a loading dock in town is one we collect from the dock itself; give us the address, a contact on site and clear photos of each side of the truck.
The Heath fuel terminal north of town
Four miles and a little more north of Hebron, at 4.1 miles on the Energy Information Administration’s list, the HEATH petroleum product terminal loads fuel trucks. Tank trucks and the tractors that pull fuel trailers out of that terminal fall within what we purchase, so tell us the tank’s capacity and compartment count along with the truck’s VIN.
Keep any tank inspection certificates and the trailer’s own title with the paperwork for the tractor. If the tractor and the tanker are titled separately, say which pieces you are selling, so the collection crew arrives with the right equipment for Heath or wherever the rig is parked.
Newark sidings, Licking pits
Newark yards and the pits to the north-west
Two rail yards, NEWARK WEST at 7.6 miles and NEWARK at 8.3 miles, lie north-east of town on the North American Rail Network maintained by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. A day cab that drays loads to and from those yards can be picked up right where it is parked in Newark; send the location and the gate hours.
Brookside Mine, a sand and gravel operation 11.1 miles north-west, and the St Louisville Plant 13.6 miles north are both on the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s list. Dump trucks and tri-axles from those pits are welcome; tell us the body length and whether a plow or spreader is mounted.
Further east, the Mine Safety and Health Administration records Pleasant Valley Limestone at 18.7 miles and the Fultonham Plant at 20.6 miles, both crushed-stone quarries. A truck still parked at a quarry office can stay there for collection, provided someone can let our driver through the scale house.
Hebron’s haulers, from owner-operators to big fleets
FMCSA’s carrier census shows 37 active carriers here: 23 run intrastate, 14 cross state lines, and 16 are private fleets moving their own goods. In the same FMCSA census, general freight is listed by 20 of them, machinery and large objects by 9, grain, feed and hay by 8, and utility work by 6.
One operator registered in Hebron reports 399 power units and 143 drivers, another 279 units and 121 drivers, according to FMCSA’s carrier census. Whether you are selling one tractor or retiring a group of units from a fleet that size, list the VINs together and we will arrange the pickups as one job.
Fourteen local carriers report mileage to FMCSA, and their median comes to 26,715 miles per truck in that carrier census. FMCSA’s census also splits the drivers on file into 330 working within a 100-mile radius and 119 beyond it.
Hebron trucks at the scale and the low bridge
FMCSA roadside inspection records between August 2024 and August 2026 cover 120 trucks tied to Hebron carriers, with a median model year of 2020 and a quarter of them ten or more model years old. Whatever year your truck is, have the inspection reports from those checks with the title, since they show its history in the inspector’s own words.
The National Bridge Inventory from the Federal Highway Administration counts 10 bridges in Hebron, none load-posted and none with clearance under fourteen feet. Tall trailers and heavy dump bodies can come and go from town without a detour, so tell us only the street where the truck waits.
A Newark counter for Hebron certificates
The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles issues titles through County Clerk of Courts title offices, and the one serving Hebron is the Licking County Clerk of Courts Title Office at 877 East Main St, Newark, 43055, 9.1 miles from town. A missing title is replaced at that counter, so start the duplicate before the sale if you cannot find yours.
If a lender still shows on the certificate, bring the lien release to that Newark office with your ID; the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles lists the steps for a clean transfer. Once the title is in your name and clear, our pickup can be booked.
Grain haulers and job-site trucks
Around Hebron, corn, soybeans and hogs lead the 1,532 farms counted across Licking County in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture. Grain trucks and hopper tractors parked on a farm lane are collected from the farm, so mark the field entrance and the barn where the keys are kept.
Builders account for 12 local establishments and warehouses for 6 more, as the Census Bureau’s County Business Patterns tallies them for the Hebron area. A dump truck or flatbed parked at a contractor’s yard can be photographed there and left in place until our driver arrives.

- Will you take a dump truck from one of the gravel pits?Brookside Mine and the St Louisville Plant, both on the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s list north of Hebron, keep dump trucks busy, and those are trucks we purchase. Send photos and the location of the pit.
