Two rail yards and a port down the south-east road
On the rail network map the FRA and BTS maintain, the Ivorydale and Berry yards both lie south-east of Mount Healthy, a short run apart on the same bearing. A day cab that shuttles freight to and from them is often parked between runs along that stretch, and we can pick it up there.
Along that same south-easterly line, EIA lists a petroleum product terminal 5.7 miles out, and the port of Cincinnati appears 6.8 miles away in BTS listings. If your tractor works yard or port moves, note where it was based and the address where it sits now, plus the VIN, a photo of the title and pictures of the cab, frame and fifth wheel.
Container ramps east at Sharonville, south at Queensgate
Seven miles east, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics lists the Cincinnati - Sharonville rail intermodal ramp, and it puts the Queensgate Yard ramp 7.8 miles south. A container tractor kept in Mount Healthy can be collected from its home lot or from a yard near either ramp.
For a sleeper or day cab that has pulled boxes off Sharonville or Queensgate, the registration and any service invoices you kept are the papers to gather first. Tell us which ramp it ran from and whether it is still hooked to a chassis, so the person who comes out knows what to expect on arrival.
Fuel racks and the riverfront south-east of town
Tank trucks leaving Mount Healthy for fuel head 5.7 miles south-east to Cincinnati North, a petroleum product terminal on the Energy Information Administration’s list. Tankers that load fuel there are a type of truck we buy, whether a straight truck or a tractor that has pulled a tank trailer.
Just past it, at 6.8 miles south-east, sits the port the Bureau of Transportation Statistics records as Cincinnati, OH. If your tanker or flatbed was based near the terminal or the riverfront, tell us whose lot it is on and who can open the gate; we come to that address rather than having you bring it north to Mount Healthy.
Keep any loading-rack or site inspection paperwork with the truck. It tells us where the truck has worked, alongside the photos you send.
Gravel pits to the west and north-west
Mine Safety and Health Administration records show Ashcraft Sand And Gravel Incorporated, a sand and gravel operation 7 miles west of town, and Fairfield Gravel 7.5 miles to the north-west. Tri-axle dump trucks and end-dump tractors that haul from pits like these fit the commercial trucks we purchase.
A dump truck that sits at a pit between loads can stay there for pickup. Send the plate, the title, a photo of the bed and hoist, and the gate contact for Ashcraft or Fairfield, so we can arrange the visit with the operator.
Town employers and Hamilton County’s corn, soybean and cattle farms
Inside Mount Healthy itself there were 1,374 jobs in 2023, a figure from the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts. Box trucks, service trucks and small straight trucks used by local businesses here belong on the list of what we collect, alongside the heavier rigs.
Around Mount Healthy, USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture tallies 322 Hamilton County farms whose leading products are corn, soybeans and cattle. A grain truck or livestock hauler from one of those Hamilton County farms can be collected from the farm yard; give us the farm address and a photo of the title.
If the title for a farm truck has gone missing, ask the Ohio title office for a duplicate before we schedule the pickup, since the sale needs a title in the seller’s name.
