Tankers that load at the Lebanon terminals
The Energy Information Administration lists a petroleum product terminal named Lebanon 5.3 miles south of Springboro, and a second, the Lebanon RP Truck Terminal, at 5.8 miles in the same direction. A tractor that pulls fuel out of either one is a truck we buy, and so is the tank trailer behind it if you want both gone together.
Before you call, pull the tractor’s title and current registration, and if the trailer is coming too, have its paperwork in the same folder. Photograph any tank inspection certificates you kept; they tell us what the trailer has carried and when it was last checked.
If the rig is parked inside a terminal yard down toward Lebanon, give us the gate contact and the hours the yard is open, and we will arrange collection there rather than ask you to move it up to Springboro.
Dump trucks from the gravel pits west and north-west
Germantown S&G, a sand and gravel operation on the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s rolls, is 6.9 miles west of Springboro. Eagle Materials’ Ernst Agg Plant 5, 7.4 miles to the north-west, appears in Mine Safety and Health Administration listings as well. Tri-axle dumps and end dumps that haul out of pits like these are the trucks we come for in this part of Warren County.
Farther out, about 20.7 miles north-east, the Mine Safety and Health Administration records the Fairborn Cement Plant. Bulk pneumatic trailers and mixers that serve a cement plant can be sold through us as well; send the VIN, a shot of the body or tank, and the plate on the hoist or blower if it carries one.
A truck that is still sitting at a pit does not need to leave it first. Tell us which operation it is at and who can let our driver onto the property.
Moraine TV, Reeds and the air base run
On the North American Rail Network, kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, the Moraine TV yard is 9.3 miles north of Springboro and the Reeds yard is 9.6 miles south-west. Day cabs that shuttle trailers and containers to and from yards at that distance are a regular fit for what we purchase.
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is 20.1 miles north-east, per the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. If your tractor has run deliveries to the base, any access or vehicle clearance paperwork stays with you; what we need is the title, the registration and a set of clear photos of the cab, frame and tires.
Of the 113 active Springboro carriers on FMCSA’s carrier census, general freight appears on 87. That census also has 26 hauling machinery and large objects, 26 moving motor vehicles and 23 carrying metal sheets, coils and rolls, and car haulers, lowboys and coil-rated flatbeds from that work are trucks we take alongside dry vans.
Of those carriers, the same federal census shows 80 running interstate, 31 intrastate and 23 as private fleets hauling their own goods. A private-fleet truck sells the same way a for-hire one does; the company that holds the title signs it over, so have the person with signing authority on hand.
New entrants keep arriving, by FMCSA’s count: 15 carriers registered in 2025 and 12 in 2024. If you started up recently and are now selling a newer unit, a lien release from your lender belongs in the file alongside the title.
The three biggest operations on the census run 68, 35 and 27 power units, with 75, 35 and 27 drivers. If you are clearing several trucks at once from a yard of that size, send a list of VINs and the address where each one sits.
Odometers and title years
Across 221 trucks stopped between September 2024 and August 2026, FMCSA roadside inspection records put the median model year of Springboro-based trucks at 2022, with 12.67 percent ten or more years old. Whichever end of that range yours falls in, the model year on the title is the first thing we ask for.
Where carriers here report mileage to FMCSA, 53 of them show a median of 76,000 miles per truck. Read the odometer off the dash and photograph it, so the figure you give us is the one on the truck.
The federal carrier census also logs 68 drivers working within 100 miles and 377 going beyond it. A long-haul truck may be parked out of state when you decide to sell; tell us the city it is in and we will collect it there.
Plant floors, job sites and soybean fields
Of 8,917 jobs located in Springboro in 2023, the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts place 1,431 in manufacturing, 630 in wholesale trade, 459 in construction and 378 in transportation and warehousing. Box trucks and straight trucks that run parts and stock between plants and warehouses are as welcome as tractors.
County Business Patterns from the Census Bureau show 45 construction establishments and 4 warehousing ones here. Contractors selling a dump, a flatbed or a crane truck should note any body or equipment serial numbers next to the VIN when they send photos.
Warren County holds 872 farms on USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture, led by soybeans, then corn, then cattle. Grain trucks and livestock haulers off those farms qualify too; a farm-plated truck still needs its title, so find it before we schedule collection.
Eleven spans, no limits
Springboro bridges and the pickup route
Eleven bridges in Springboro appear in the Federal Highway Administration’s National Bridge Inventory, and none carries a posted load limit or sits under 14 feet. That leaves our tow and lowboy routes into town open, so the deciding factor for pickup is the lot itself.
Tell us whether the truck is on pavement, gravel or grass, and whether anything is parked in front of it, and the collection can be planned around the spot.
