The nearest yard is named for the borough across the river
The North American Rail Network maintained by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics lists a rail yard with Norfolk Southern as operator 0.90 miles north-west of the centre of this borough. It is named LEHIGHTON, after the separate borough on the other bank of the Lehigh.
The real working ground is spread around at four to ten miles, and it is three different rocks. Coal west, slate south, and stone south-east.
Three rocks inside ten miles, and none of them the same haul
Those three sit close enough to name. West is anthracite — Little Italy of Lehigh Anthracite Coal 5.38 miles out with 31 people, and Nesquehoning Bank of Panther Creek Permitting 9.58 miles with 16. South at 5.84 miles is the Manhattan Quarry of Penn Slate, a dimension-stone operation with 4.
South-east is the aggregate side: DTA Alliance 4.02 miles with 10 people, and Lehigh Asphalt Paving 8.40 miles south-west with 17. The Palmerton yard sits 4.34 miles south-east.
Three commodities, three load shapes and three sets of wear, all inside ten miles of one small borough. A truck sold here could have spent its life on any of them, which is why we ask rather than assume.

Anthracite, slate and aggregate wear a truck three different ways
So the wear on a truck from this borough depends entirely on which of those it served. Anthracite off a Lehigh Anthracite Coal bank or a breaker is dense and abrasive and it goes in dump bodies, which puts it into the body floor, the tailgate hardware, the suspension and the brakes.
Slate is the opposite problem. Dimension stone travels banded on pallets or on flat decks, and the load is heavy, irregular and unforgiving of a deck that has been let go, so the wear lands in strapping, edge protection and the deck itself rather than in a hoist.
