Pipeline Quarry and the Cascade sandpit
The Mine Safety and Health Administration places Pipeline Quarry, a crushed-stone operation, just 0.2 miles north-east of Agua Dulce, with MTI Sandpit Cascade Division, a sand and gravel site, at the same short distance and bearing. A dump truck or end-dump tractor that hauls aggregate from those two pits may well be sitting in a yard right beside them when we arrive, so give us the gate or yard address rather than a home address.
Two miles north, Rock Dimension Pit appears in Mine Safety and Health Administration listings as a dimension-stone quarry, which means flatbeds and heavy tractors carrying cut blocks rather than loose fill. If your truck worked the cut-stone side, tell us the trailer it pulled and send photos of the deck, the cab and the VIN plate together so we know which unit we are talking about.
Farther out on the rock
Quarries north and north-west of town
Soto’s Rock, another dimension-stone quarry on the Mine Safety and Health Administration roll, lies 7.7 miles north-west, and the EAST LOOP 375 SAND PLT sand and gravel operation sits 9.3 miles out on that same heading. Haul trucks shuttling between those sites and job sites across El Paso often end the week parked at the plant, so tell us which site the truck is kept at and whether a loaded trailer will need to be dropped first.
Ned Finney Quarry, a crushed-stone producer recorded by the Mine Safety and Health Administration 12.1 miles due north, rounds out the stone work around town. Before we come out to any of these pits, have the Texas title in the registered owner’s name, the current registration and any service records on hand, since those three papers answer most of what we ask about a truck.
Racks toward El Paso
Two El Paso petroleum terminals within a dozen miles
According to the Energy Information Administration, a petroleum product terminal listed as EL PASO stands 6.5 miles south-west of Agua Dulce, and a second terminal under the same name lies 11.9 miles to the north-west. Tank-truck tractors and the day cabs that load fuel at those racks are part of what we buy, and a tanker owner here can sell the tractor without bringing it into the city first.
If your tractor pulled a fuel tanker from either El Paso rack, keep whatever inspection reports and site paperwork came with that work alongside the title. Tell us whether the trailer goes with the sale or stays behind, and send photos of the fifth wheel, the tires and the cab so what we see lines up with what you describe.
Cotton, cattle and honey
Ranch and field trucks around Agua Dulce
Around Agua Dulce and the rest of El Paso County, USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counted 581 farms, and it ranks cotton, cattle and honey as the leading products there. That points to module and cotton haulers, cattle pots and the straight trucks beekeepers use to move hives, and any of them can be sold from the farm where it is parked.
A farm truck may sit in a barn or at the edge of a field between seasons, and that is fine; tell us the gate, the road it is reached by and whether a tractor-trailer can turn around there. If the truck carries farm plates, mention that up front along with the name on the title so we can line up the paperwork before the visit.
Getting a duplicate title through the tax office
The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles issues replacement titles, and it handles them through the county tax assessor-collector offices. For an Agua Dulce owner that means the El Paso County tax assessor-collector is where a copy is requested, and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles website explains the form to bring.
Start that request as soon as you know the original is missing, and tell us when you first get in touch so we can plan the collection around it. If the name on the title differs from yours, say so early, along with the registration and any service records, so the paperwork is settled before we come out.
The questions we get asked in Agua Dulce
- Can you collect an end dump from the Cascade sandpit yard?Pipeline Quarry and the Cascade sandpit sit 0.2 miles north-east of town by the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s listing, and we collect trucks from yards like those as well as from homes; give us the gate address and who will let us in.
- My title went missing; which office near Agua Dulce issues a duplicate? The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles routes title copies through county tax assessor-collector offices, so El Paso County’s tax assessor-collector is the office for an Agua Dulce owner.
- Do you buy cattle trucks and farm haulers here?Cattle lead the county’s farm products alongside cotton and honey in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture, and cattle haulers, cotton trucks and hive trucks are all trucks we take; tell us where the truck is parked on the property.
- Can I sell a tanker tractor that loaded at the El Paso fuel terminals? Two petroleum product terminals listed by the Energy Information Administration lie 6.5 and 11.9 miles from Agua Dulce, and the tractors that pull from them are part of what we buy; send the VIN, photos and the title holder’s name.
