Two gravel pits within five miles of Briar
The Mine Safety and Health Administration lists IMAGE MATERIALS, a sand and gravel operation 3.9 miles north-east of Briar, and Top-Way Materials, LLC, another 4.8 miles east. A dump truck or end dump that hauls out of either pit is often parked at a yard on the edge of town rather than at the pit gate, so tell us which one so we can plan access.
Before we collect a tandem or tri-axle from one of those pits, have the title, the current Texas registration and the VIN plate photo together. Add pictures of the bed, the hoist and the cab, and send the odometer reading with them.
Quarry run
Chico and Bridgeport stone to the north-west
Two crushed-stone quarries, Bridgeport Stone Plant and Chico Quarry, are each 16.8 miles north-west of Briar on the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s list. Rock trucks and belly-dump tractors that cycle up that road can stay parked wherever the driver leaves them between loads.
If your truck is sitting at a quarry lot near Chico or Bridgeport, give us the name of whoever controls the gate and a phone number for them. Send any service log for the hoist, the trailer gates or the air system along with the title.
Alliance
Rail and intermodal to the east
East of Briar by 12.9 miles, the ALLIANCE rail yard appears on the North American Rail Network kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. The Bureau of Transportation Statistics also lists the Alliance, TX intermodal ramp 13.3 miles east, where day cabs and sleepers move containers on and off the trains.
A container tractor based at Alliance can be collected from a drop lot there or from the driveway in Briar where it spends weekends. Send the VIN, the cab type and the last annual inspection report, and let us know which location suits you.
The Energy Information Administration places the SAGINAW petroleum product terminal 15.9 miles south-east of Briar, and Quality Transload Inc, a liquid bulk terminal on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics list, sits 16 miles out in that same direction. Tractors pulling fuel or liquid tankers between those two sites are part of what we buy.
For a tanker tractor, keep the hazmat-related inspection paperwork you have with the title, and tell us whether the trailer goes with it or stays. We can pick up at a Saginaw-area yard or back home in Briar.

Whatever the model year of yours, the paperwork list is the same: title in your name, registration, and the most recent inspection sheet. Photos of the cab interior, the frame rails and the data plate let us confirm the spec.
