Eureka Yard and the rail line east of the village
The North American Rail Network, kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, places Eureka Yard 6.2 miles east of Bunker Hill Village and a second Eureka yard listing at 6.7 miles. If your tractor shuttles between those tracks and a home driveway or side lot in the village, tell us which of the two spots it sits at on the day you contact us, so the pickup goes to the right gate.
A truck parked inside a rail property usually needs someone to sign it out. Give us the name and phone number of the person who controls access at the Eureka lot, along with the VIN, and we arrange the collection with them directly while you keep the title in hand.
North and South Houston racks
Petroleum product terminals north-east and south-east
North Houston RP Truck Terminal, a petroleum product terminal listed by the Energy Information Administration, lies 7.6 miles north-east of the village. South Houston, another EIA-listed product terminal, is 10.4 miles to the south-east. Fuel tankers and the tractors pulling them run between racks like these, and we buy both the tractor and the trailer.
Before you reach out, photograph the tank plate, the cab, the frame and the tires, and pull together any inspection or service records the terminal required. Those papers tell us where the rig loaded and how it was kept, and they travel with the title when we collect.
Port Authority docks
The port and the liquid bulk docks
Ten and a half miles north-east, the Houston Port Authority appears on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics list of ports. The ExxonMobil liquid bulk terminal, 10.6 miles to the south-east, and Texas Blending & Warehousing, also liquid bulk at 11.4 miles due east, are both on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics register as well.
If your rig hauls between these docks and is now parked near the channel instead of at home in the village, it can stay there. Send us the street address, say whether it is behind a fence, and name who can let us in; the sale is handled from wherever you happen to be.
Englewood intermodal on Wallisville Road
Per the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, the Englewood rail intermodal ramp on Wallisville Road is 12.9 miles east of Bunker Hill Village. Day cabs and sleepers that pull chassis and boxes off that ramp are trucks we purchase outright.
For a container tractor, start with the VIN, the odometer reading and the registration. If the chassis is yours and not a pool unit, say so, and list it separately so the paperwork for each piece is clear before collection.
Village driveways and Harris County cattle, horse and nursery farms
Inside Bunker Hill Village itself, 264 jobs were counted for 2023 in the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts (LODES). If your truck spends its off days at a house here, a residential driveway is a fine place for us to meet it; tell us whether a trailer is still hooked up.
Across Harris County, USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counts 1,531 farms, with cattle, equine and potted flowering plants at the top of the list. Livestock haulers, horse trailer rigs and nursery box trucks from that county work are all on what we buy; have the title and registration ready and tell us which farm road the truck sits on.
Texas title steps for a truck garaged in Bunker Hill Village
Bunker Hill Village owners deal with the state’s title agency for any Texas title. If the title is missing, start a duplicate request there before we schedule anything, and send us a photo of the registration in the meantime so we can match the VIN.
When a lender still holds a lien, tell us the lender’s name at the outset. The release and the title then come together, and the truck can be collected from the village, the port or the terminal where it is parked.
