The Mine Safety and Health Administration lists Burleson Sand, an industrial-mineral mine 2.4 miles east of town, and the Cameron 1334 (3) sand and gravel operation 23.9 miles north-west. A dump truck or end-dump tractor that hauled from either site can stay parked at the yard; tell us whose ground it is on and who can unlock the gate.
If the truck sits near the yard or at a shipper along that line, a street address or a dropped map pin is enough for us to find it.
Two petroleum product terminals listed by the Energy Information Administration are within a short drive: Bryan, 21 miles east, and the Hearne Blending Terminal, 23.1 miles north-east. A tractor that pulled fuel trailers from them sells like any other; send the title and registration and mention which terminal it served.
Burleson County work behind the freight
The Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts put 2,149 jobs in Caldwell in 2023, with manufacturing at 222 of them and wholesale trade at 106.
