Terminals on the shore
Petroleum and liquid bulk docks east and south of town
The Energy Information Administration places the INGLESIDE FACILITY, a petroleum product terminal, 1.7 miles east of town, and the MODA INGLESIDE ENERGY CENTER 3.1 miles to the south. A tractor that shuttles between those gates is often parked on the shore side of Ingleside when the work stops, so give us that street address and the name of whoever holds the yard key.
Bay Ltd., listed by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics as a liquid bulk terminal 3 miles east, is the third dock on that stretch of shoreline. If your day cab pulled tankers into Bay Ltd. or the MODA center, keep any gate passes or site safety checklists with the title; they tell us which loads the tractor carried without anyone guessing.
Port of Corpus Christi berths a short drive west
Roughly 12.2 miles west, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics records the Port of Corpus Christi Northside Terminal as a roll-on/roll-off berth, with the Southside Terminal at 12.8 miles. Car haulers and lowboys that load at those ramps can stay on the Corpus Christi side; we collect from the lot where the truck sits, not from your driveway.
Corpus Christi itself, 12.6 miles west, carries a strategic seaport listing from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Send the VIN, a clear shot of the data plate and photos of the deck or fifth wheel, and tell us which side of the bay the rig is parked on so the pickup route is planned from the start.
Ingleside haulers who keep their wheels inside Texas
FMCSA’s carrier census shows 43 active carriers based in Ingleside, and 39 of them run intrastate only against 3 crossing state lines. A truck plated and inspected for Texas work fits that pattern, so have the Texas registration card and the most recent annual inspection report on hand when you call.
Twenty-eight of those carriers list general freight, 8 haul machinery and large objects, and 4 each move metal coils or motor vehicles, per the same FMCSA census. Heavy-haul tractors and lowboy combinations from the machinery outfits are as welcome as a box truck, so tell us the trailer type along with the tractor.
Ten Ingleside carriers are private fleets in FMCSA’s register, hauling their own goods rather than for hire. If your company truck is being retired from one of those in-house fleets, the person who signs the title for the business should be the one who contacts us.
Odometers and inspection lanes
How far Ingleside trucks travel and what was inspected
Ingleside outfits tell FMCSA’s carrier census that 124 of their drivers stay inside a 100-mile circle of the bay while 90 range past it. Nine carriers that filed annual mileage with FMCSA show a median of 70,000 miles per truck, so a written odometer reading in your first message saves a round of questions.
Across 73 trucks stopped between September 2024 and August 2026, FMCSA roadside inspection records give a median model year of 2017. In those same FMCSA roadside inspection records, 45.2 percent of the trucks checked were ten or more years old; whatever year yours is, list it with the make and model when you reach us.
Construction jobs and the plants to the west
The Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts put 3,173 of 5,066 Ingleside jobs in construction in 2023, a 62.6 percent share, with 401 in manufacturing and 173 in transportation and warehousing. Dump trucks, water trucks and flatbeds from job sites are part of what we collect, and the site gate or contractor yard is a fine pickup point.
Nineteen construction establishments operate from this corner of San Patricio County in the Census Bureau’s County Business Patterns. If the truck is titled to one of those businesses rather than to you, have the company paperwork that shows who may sign.
Two mineral processing plants, the Corpus Processing Facility and CIMBAR Resources Inc., sit about 11.7 and 11.8 miles west in Mine Safety and Health Administration records. A tractor or dump body that served those plants can be picked up at the plant lot if the operator allows it; tell us the contact there.
County fields
Cotton, sorghum and corn haulers from county farmland
San Patricio County holds 620 farms, with cotton, sorghum and corn as the leading crops in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture. Grain trucks and module haulers from those fields may be parked at a farm gate miles from Ingleside, and we collect them there.
For a farm truck that went years without a title transfer, the state’s title agency issues a replacement title before a sale. Start that request early and send us the registration you still hold so the VIN can be matched.
The questions we get asked in Ingleside
- Must my tractor leave its spot beside the MODA Ingleside Energy Center before pickup? The MODA INGLESIDE ENERGY CENTER is 3.1 miles south of town on Energy Information Administration listings, and we arrange collection where the tractor is parked. Give us the gate contact so the visit is cleared with the site.
- Does an intrastate-only truck from Ingleside qualify?Of the 43 active carriers FMCSA’s census lists here, 39 are intrastate only, so Texas-only trucks are the norm. Send the Texas registration and the latest inspection report with your photos.
- Where does an Ingleside owner get a missing dump truck title reissued?Ingleside is in Texas, so the state’s title agency handles a replacement title. Apply there first, then send us the VIN and your registration while the new title is on its way.
- My lowboy is at the Port of Corpus Christi Northside Terminal. Will you travel across the bay for it?The Northside Terminal sits about 12.2 miles west on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics map, and we collect from where the rig is. Tell us the berth or lot name and who can let us in.
