If your tractor pulled dry vans or flatbeds for one of those outfits, have the title and current registration in the cab paperwork before you call, and we can start with the VIN.
Grain, feed and hay shows up on 19 Slaton carrier registrations in the federal carrier census, with farm supplies on 12 and machinery or large objects on another 12. Damron Sand, a sand and gravel operation on file with the Mine Safety and Health Administration, lies roughly 5 miles north of Slaton. Dump trucks and end-dump tractors that have hauled aggregate from a pit like that are on our list, and the pit or a nearby lot is a fine place to collect from if you tell us who can open it.
Northwest toward Lubbock, the Energy Information Administration lists two petroleum product terminals, one about 14.9 miles out and another at 17.5 miles. A fuel tanker or tractor that ran product from those terminals can be sold from wherever it is parked; tell us which terminal it served and send photos of the tractor and the tank.
