Quarry hauling below the mountain
Bull Run Plant, a crushed-stone quarry listed by the Mine Safety and Health Administration, lies 7.7 miles south-east of the estates. Tri-axle dumps and end-dump tractors that shuttle aggregate from a pit like that are trucks we buy, so if yours has spent its seasons on that run, tell us the body type and the axle setup when you first get in touch.
Heading east instead, the Mine Safety and Health Administration lists Chantilly Crushed Stone Incorporated 9.3 miles out. A dump truck parked at a contractor’s lot near Chantilly is one we collect from where it stands; send the yard address, a few photos of the bed and the cab, and a note on whether a lowboy can reach the gate.
Fuel haulers loading at the Manassas and Fairfax racks
According to the Energy Information Administration, a petroleum product terminal operates at Manassas, about 11.4 miles south-east, and another sits at Fairfax, 21.5 miles east. Straight trucks and tractors that haul fuel from those racks to stations along the corridor are welcome here, along with the tank trailers they pull.
If your tanker carried product out of either rack, keep its hazmat placarding history and any tank test certificates with the title. Those records travel with the truck, and handing them over at pickup lets us register what the rig did without a second round of questions.
Beans, beef, horses
Soybean fields, cattle and horse barns
USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counted 316 farms across Prince William County, with soybeans, cattle and equine operations at the top of the list. Grain trucks that move beans at harvest, stock trailers’ tow rigs and flatbeds that carry hay to barns are all trucks a seller up on the mountain can bring to us.
Horse farms in the county often keep a single hauler for feed, bedding and equipment. If that is your truck, send a photo of the VIN plate and the registration card to start, and our driver collects it from the farm lane.
Parkridge Center
Duplicate titles at Parkridge Center in Manassas
The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles handles duplicate titles, and its Prince William/Manassas customer service center at Parkridge Center, 11270 Bulloch Drive in Manassas, is 10.5 miles from the estates. Bring your registration and identification there if the original title has gone missing before you sell.
DMV Select offices also take title work in Virginia, according to the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, so a seller who works closer to another town can use whichever office is nearer. Once the replacement arrives, a clear photo of its front is what we ask for before the pickup is booked.
Pickup on the ridge
Getting a truck off Bull Run Mountain
Tell us exactly where the truck is parked in the estates: a driveway, a gravel pad, a shop lot down near the highway. Knowing the grade and the turning room lets the driver bring the right equipment the first time.
Have the keys, the title in your name and any service binder together in the cab. If a lien is still on record, say so up front and include the lender’s contact details, and we will work the release into the paperwork.
