Two petroleum terminals, two miles and twelve miles out
If your tank truck or fuel tractor loads at that rack, tell us the lot where it waits between loads and we will collect it there.
A tractor that splits its loads between the Manassas and Fairfax racks still sells the same way: send the VIN, the title and a set of photos of the cab, the tank or fifth wheel and the tires.
Keep any loading-rack records, annual inspection sheets and service invoices together with the title. Handing that file over with the truck answers most of our questions before we ask them.
Quarry haulers off Manassas and Bull Run
A crushed-stone quarry named Manassas lies 2.1 miles west of town in Mine Safety and Health Administration records, and the Bull Run Plant, another crushed-stone operation, sits 5.9 miles north-west. Tri-axle dumps, end dumps and the tractors that pull aggregate trailers are all trucks we buy here.
When a dump truck lives at a quarry yard rather than a driveway, tell us the site name and whether a gate code or escort is needed. We arrange the pickup at the quarry yard itself. The truck stays put until we arrive.
For a body that was added after the chassis left the factory, note the body maker and the year it was fitted, and photograph the hoist and the bed alongside the cab and frame.
Bases and bulk
Marine Corps Base Quantico is 15.8 miles south of Loch Lomond, and Fort Belvoir is 18 miles east, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Box trucks, flatbeds and tractors that make deliveries to either installation can be sold from wherever they are stationed in the county.
Further east, at 19.2 miles, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics lists Norfolk Southern TBT as a liquid bulk terminal. If a tank tractor of yours runs between that terminal and the Manassas rack, give us both addresses and the yard where it is normally kept.
Owners who sign for a truck on base duty should check that the registration is current and that the name on the title matches the seller before we schedule a visit.
Grain trucks, livestock haulers and the tractors that pull horse and stock trailers all fit what we purchase.
A farm truck often stays in a barn or field lane for most of the year. Tell us how the truck is reached from the road, and send photos taken in daylight so the frame and tires show clearly.
Farm-plated vehicles still need a clean title in the seller’s name. If the title has been misplaced, the state’s title agency issues a duplicate, and having it in hand keeps the sale straightforward.
A small job base inside a busy county
The Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts for 2023 show 254 jobs located in Loch Lomond itself. If your truck is based at a yard, quarry or terminal elsewhere in the county, that is where we come to collect it.
Whichever site your truck works from, the checklist is short: title, current registration, any inspection or service records, and photos from all four sides plus the cab interior. With those in hand, we can talk about your truck rather than about missing paperwork.
