Pit trucks east of the lake toward the quarries
Getchell Pit, a sand and gravel operation the Mine Safety and Health Administration lists 2.9 miles east of Lake Cassidy, is the closest working site to town. If your dump truck or end-dump tractor loads there, it may well be parked at the pit or at home a few minutes away when we collect it. Tell us which of the two, and whether a loaded trailer is still hooked up.
Further out on the same side, Menzel Lake Gravel sits 6.6 miles east and Heidelberg Materials High Rock Quarry, a crushed-stone quarry, 18 miles south-east, both on the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s list. A truck that hauls aggregate between those sites and Snohomish County jobs can be picked up from a yard, a shop or a driveway. Have the title, the current registration and a set of photos of the bed, frame and cab ready before you call.
Contractor rigs behind the construction share
Of the 281 jobs located in Lake Cassidy in 2023, construction accounts for 96, or 34.2 percent, on the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts. Those crews run dump trucks, flatbeds, water trucks and service bodies, and every one of those body types is on our list.
If your truck belongs to a small contracting outfit here, gather the paperwork for it before reaching out: title, registration, and any service records or inspection reports kept in the shop. Photos of the body, the hydraulics and the cab interior let us see the whole truck before we come to Lake Cassidy for it.
Shuttling between Delta and the Everett docks
According to the North American Rail Network, kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, two rail yards named Delta Yard and Delta lie 6.4 and 6.5 miles south-west of town. Tractors that shuttle freight to and from those yards can be collected where they park between runs; give us that address and the gate or access details.
Everett, 9.3 miles south-west, appears on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics list of strategic seaports. If your day cab or sleeper pulls containers or flatbeds off the Everett docks, send the VIN and the odometer reading first, then photos of the fifth wheel, the tires and both sides of the cab.
Delivery routes past two installations to the north
The Bureau of Transportation Statistics records a military installation at Marysville, 5.7 miles north-west, and another at Jim Creek, 11.7 miles north-east of Lake Cassidy. Box trucks, flatbeds and tractors that make deliveries along those routes are trucks we take on, wherever in the county they are parked.
If your truck is kept near either installation, say whether it sits on private ground with open access for our crew. A clear location, the title in your name and the registration card are what let us plan the trip out from Lake Cassidy without back-and-forth.
Tankers and stock haulers from county dairies
On the 1,418 farms of the county around Lake Cassidy, milk heads the list ahead of cattle and then corn, in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture; milk tankers, livestock haulers, grain trucks and feed trucks from those operations are all trucks we purchase.
A farm truck is often parked in a barn lot or a field edge rather than a paved yard. Tell us how we reach it, whether the title is in the farm’s name or yours, and send photos of the body, whether that is a tank, a stock rack or a grain box.
Getting the title and emissions papers in order
A missing title is replaced through the state’s title agency; start that request early so the paperwork is in hand on the day we arrive in Lake Cassidy. Keep the registration and any lien release together with the replacement title.
Washington’s Clean Vehicles Program adopted California’s Advanced Clean Trucks regulation and the Heavy-Duty Low NOx Omnibus standards, and enforcement of both is listed as paused in the state’s updated regulatory guidance. Neither rule affects whether we buy a diesel truck from you; bring the title and registration as they stand.
