Sell your semi truck for cash in Larch Way the easy and convenient way

Larch Way sits in Snohomish County between Everett’s waterfront to the north and the Seattle rail ramps and fuel terminals to the south, and the trucks we collect here often work one end or the other.

Selling a truck in Larch Way? Tell us about it and we'll take it from there.

A plant-heavy job base in a small place

The Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts (LODES) put 2,161 jobs in Larch Way for 2023, and 734 of them, 34 percent, are in manufacturing. A box truck, flatbed or tractor that has spent its days on plant loading docks around here is the kind of truck we collect, so tell us which docks it backed into and what it usually hauled.

Construction holds 106 of those 2,161 positions, 4.9 percent according to the Census Bureau’s LEHD job counts, and wholesale trade holds 84, or 3.9 percent. If you own a dump truck from a building crew or a straight truck from a distribution route, photograph the body, the cab and the plate on the door frame before you call.

Everett’s port and the Bayside rail yard

Everett, listed as a strategic seaport by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, lies 9.1 miles north of Larch Way. Drayage tractors and chassis haulers that shuttle between that harbor and yards in south Snohomish County can be collected wherever they sit between runs; give us the street address and a gate code if the lot is locked.

A little farther on, 10.7 miles north, the North American Rail Network maintained by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics shows the Bayside yard. If your truck is parked near the tracks there instead of at your home, say so up front and we will route the pickup to that spot rather than to Larch Way itself.

High Rock Quarry, east of town

Heidelberg Materials High Rock Quarry, a crushed-stone operation on the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s list, is 13 miles east of town. Tri-axle dumps and end-dump trailers pulled out of a pit like that one are welcome here; note the body length and the axle count when you first reach us.

For a quarry truck, keep the registration and whatever service log the shop kept with the title in one folder. Add clear pictures of the dump bed and the hoist, and send all of it with your first message.

Seattle waterfront ramps

Container ramps and Seattle fuel loading

Terminal 30 (T-30), a rail intermodal ramp on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics’ roster, is 18.2 miles south, and Seattle International Gateway (SIG) appears on that same roster at 18.7 miles. A day cab that pulls containers off those ramps and comes home to Larch Way at night can be picked up from your driveway or your shop.

Two petroleum product terminals counted by the Energy Information Administration, the Shell Seattle terminal at 18.6 miles and a second Seattle terminal at 18.8 miles, sit on the same southern stretch. Tank tractors that load at sites like these should come with their registration and any terminal inspection sheets you still have, together with photos of the tractor from all four sides.

Snohomish County has 1,418 farms in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture, with milk first among its products and cattle and corn after it. A milk tanker, a livestock hauler or a grain truck that works those farms is something we pick up right on the property, so send a pin or a farm road name if the address is hard to find.

Farm trucks often sit in a barn or a back field between seasons. Tell us where on the land the truck is parked and whether a tractor-trailer can reach it, and have the title in the registered owner’s name ready for the day we arrive.

Paused enforcement and the title folder

Washington adopted California’s Advanced Clean Trucks regulation and the Heavy-Duty Low NOx Omnibus (WAC 173-423-081) through its Clean Vehicles Program, and the state’s Department of Ecology guidance lists enforcement of both as paused. An update to the regulatory guidance for those rules and Advanced Clean Cars II is listed as in force in that same publication.

None of that changes what to gather before a sale near Larch Way: the title, the current registration and a few clear photos. If the title is missing, the state’s title agency handles a replacement, and starting that request early keeps the pickup date open.
