Asphalt and aggregate
Tank loads at Rosario, rock at Pena Blanca
Rosario Asphalt, a petroleum product terminal listed by the Energy Information Administration, lies 4.6 miles north-east of Santo Domingo Pueblo. A tanker or a tractor that has hauled asphalt out of that terminal can usually be collected right where it parks between loads, so give us the yard address and a note on how a trailer would reach it.
Only a little further along that same heading, the Mine Safety and Health Administration records Pena Blanca as a sand and gravel operation 5.2 miles out. Dump trucks and end-dump tractors that cycle between a pit and local job sites are on our list; photograph the bed, the cab and the VIN plate, and keep the registration close by for when we call.
River pit and humates
Aggregate along the Santa Fe River
Santa Fe River Pit, at 17.9 miles north-east by the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s listing, is a second sand and gravel site within reach of the pueblo. If your truck splits its days between this pit and Pena Blanca, tell us which one it visited last; that pit is often where we end up meeting it.
West of town, Mesa Verde Humates, LLC appears in Mine Safety and Health Administration records as an industrial-mineral mine 23.2 miles away. A hauler that runs to that site should come with its service records and a current title; a short list of what it carried helps us ask the right questions about the truck rather than the route.
National Guard training sites
Onate Complex east, Rio Rancho south-west
East of the pueblo by 16.2 miles, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics places NG Santa Fe - Onate Complex TS, a military installation. Trucks that have delivered to or worked near the complex are welcome; any site access paperwork you kept can travel with the title.
NG Rio Rancho TS, 19 miles to the south-west, is also on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics list. A seller with a truck parked closer to Rio Rancho than to Santo Domingo Pueblo does not need to move it first; send the location and we plan the pickup there.
Livestock hauling around the pueblo
Across Sandoval County, 709 farms were counted in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture, with cattle, equine and mushrooms as the leading lines. Stock trucks and tractors that pull cattle or horse trailers fit what we buy, and a set of photos showing the cab, the frame and the tires lets us see the truck before we come out.
Ranch trucks often stay at a gate or barn well off the paved road. Tell us whether a flatbed or tow rig can get in during wet weather, and point us to the spot so the visit goes to the right place.
Replacing a lost title on Camino del Pueblo
The New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division handles titles here through its MVD field offices, and the nearest is NM MVD Field Office - Bernalillo at 829 S Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, 87004, 18.2 miles from Santo Domingo Pueblo. If the title has gone missing, that office is where a duplicate starts.
Bring the VIN, your registration and identification when you go, and let us know once the replacement is on order. We can talk through the truck while the paperwork is in progress.
New Mexico’s zero-emission and engine standards
New Mexico’s Advanced Clean Trucks rule, the Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero-emission Vehicle Requirement, Reporting and Compliance, is in force. For an owner near the pueblo, that rule sits alongside the decision to sell; it does not change what paperwork we ask for.
Heavy-Duty Omnibus, the state’s Exhaust Emission Standards for Heavy-Duty Engines, is also in force. If you know your engine’s model year and family, add it to your message along with the VIN.
