Cleveland still hauls steel. The mill yards at Newburgh Heights, the ore dock on Whiskey Island and the salt mine beneath it, and the Collinwood intermodal ramp are the city's freight map, and motor vehicles and steel coil are the cargoes its carriers declare most after general freight. Nearly nine in ten of the 2,500 carriers based here are for-hire.

Eight posted bridges and St. Clair over Martin Luther King
Ohio runs from the federal gross on the interstates to its own allowances off them, as the Ohio page sets out. Cleveland's own inventory counts 311 bridges, eight posted for load and eight below fourteen feet, the lowest at twelve feet where St. Clair Avenue crosses Martin Luther King Boulevard; a steel hauler out of the mill yards has that one memorized.
