Petroleum and liquid bulk terminals north and east of town
The Energy Information Administration places two petroleum product terminals within 5 miles to the north: ITC Pasadena at 4.2 miles and the Deer Park Rail Terminal at 4.6 miles. If your tractor has been loading at either gate, write down which one and roughly how long it ran that lane, and keep any site access cards or terminal paperwork with the title.
Alpha Technical Services, a liquid bulk terminal 4 miles east, and a second liquid bulk terminal 4.7 miles north both appear on the Bureau of Transportation Statistics list for this area. Chevron Phillips yard, Pasadena yard and Jacintoport
Two rail yards, Chevron Phillips Pasadena at 5.1 miles and the yard named Pasadena at 5.5 miles, both north-west of town, are mapped in the North American Rail Network kept by the Federal Railroad Administration and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Tractors that shuttle cars and loads around those yards often stay on site between shifts, so tell us whether yours is inside a fenced rail property before we schedule a visit.
Jacintoport Terminal, a rail intermodal ramp 6.7 miles north according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, is where container chassis work meets the ship channel side of the county. For a tractor that has pulled boxes off that ramp, the VIN, a clear photo of the odometer and a copy of the Texas registration are the three things to send first.
