In ProductionThe N-Series is Isuzu’s core low cab forward lineup β Class 3 through Class 5. The best-selling medium duty cab-over truck in North America. All N-Series models purchased.
Isuzu NPR
The NPR is Isuzu’s original and most popular North American truck, in continuous production since 1984 when Isuzu first entered the U.S. market. The Class 3β4 NPR at 14,500 lbs GVWR is the backbone of light commercial truck fleets across the country β used for box truck delivery, landscaping, plumbing, electrical, and countless service applications. Available with Isuzu diesel engines and GM gasoline V8 engines. The NPR-HD raises the GVWR to 16,000 lbs and is the most common single-unit box truck in North America. The NPR-XD adds additional payload capacity at 16,000 GVWR. First U.S.-built gas NPR assembled in Janesville, Wisconsin in 1991.
Isuzu NQR
The NQR is the Class 5 step up from the NPR, introduced in 1999. It uses the same cab as the NPR but is rated at 17,950 lbs GVWR for heavier payload applications. Available in standard cab and crew cab configurations. Powered by the Isuzu 4HK1 diesel engine and available with GM gasoline V8. The NQR Crew Cab won Price Digests’ Highest Retained Value Award in 2022. Less common than the NPR but still widely used in construction, utility, and refrigerated delivery applications. We purchase all NQR configurations in any condition.
Isuzu NRR
The NRR is the heaviest of Isuzu’s N-Series, rated at 19,500 lbs GVWR β the maximum payload of any Class 5 low cab forward. Introduced in 1999 alongside the NQR. Diesel-only configuration using the Isuzu 4HK1 engine. Used in heavier flatbed, dump, and vocational applications where the NPR and NQR don’t have sufficient payload capacity. The 2025 NRR EV is Isuzu’s first battery-electric production truck for the U.S. market, announced for introduction in 2024. We purchase all NRR models in any condition.
Isuzu NPR-HD
The NPR-HD is the heavy duty variant of the NPR with a 16,000 lb GVWR β 1,500 lbs more payload than the standard NPR. Introduced in 1994. The most versatile configuration in the N-Series lineup, used for box trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated units, dump bodies, service bodies, and utility applications. Available with both Isuzu diesel and GM gasoline engines. The single most common configuration we purchase from the Isuzu lineup. Excellent parts availability and dealer support throughout the country.
Isuzu Reach
The Isuzu Reach was a revolutionary walk-in van built on an Isuzu N-Series chassis, produced from 2011 through approximately 2016 in Wakarusa, Indiana. Named Medium-Duty Truck of the Year by Work Truck magazine in 2012. Designed specifically for last-mile parcel delivery with a walk-through cab, stand-up cargo area, and low step-in height. Used by delivery fleets throughout its production run. Less common than the standard N-Series cab configurations. We purchase all Reach walk-in vans in any condition.
Isuzu NRR EV
Isuzu’s first all-electric production model for the North American market, the NRR EV is a Class 5 low cab forward introduced in 2024β2025. Based on the same cab and frame as the diesel NRR but with a battery-electric drivetrain. Targeted at California and other zero-emission mandate markets for urban delivery, utility, and last-mile applications. Marks Isuzu’s entry into the electric commercial vehicle market after 40 years of diesel dominance in the North American medium duty segment.
Isuzu F-Series β FTR, FVR, FSR
In ProductionThe F-Series is Isuzu’s Class 6 and Class 7 conventional cab lineup. All F-Series models purchased.
Isuzu FTR
The FTR is Isuzu’s Class 6 conventional cab truck and the flagship of the F-Series lineup in North America. The current generation FTR was introduced at The Work Truck Show in 2016 with production beginning in 2017 in Charlotte, Michigan β a completely redesigned truck from the ground up. Named Medium-Duty Truck of the Year in 2018. Powered by the Cummins B6.7 diesel engine. Used for larger box truck, flatbed, beverage distribution, dump, and medium duty vocational applications. Also available as a Class 7 configuration since 2021. The most capable and popular Isuzu in the used commercial truck market.
Isuzu FSR
The FSR is the lighter Class 5β6 conventional cab Isuzu, sharing its cab with the FTR but with a lighter duty frame and lower GVWR. Used in medium duty flatbed, dump, and service body applications where the full FTR payload capacity is more than needed. Powered by Isuzu diesel engines and available with gasoline options on earlier models. Less common than the FTR in the North American market. We purchase all FSR configurations in any condition with a clear title.
Isuzu FVR
The FVR is Isuzu’s Class 7 conventional cab truck β the heaviest Isuzu available in the North American market. Less common than the FTR due to the relatively limited demand for Class 7 low cab forward trucks in the U.S. Used in heavier dump, concrete, and vocational applications requiring Class 7 ratings. Production in the U.S. began around 2007 and continues today at the Charlotte, Michigan facility. Powered by the Cummins B6.7 diesel. We purchase all FVR configurations in any condition.

Early NPR (1st Generation)
The original Isuzu NPR sold in the United States starting in 1984 β the truck that established Isuzu’s dominance in the Class 3β5 low cab forward market. Initially imported from Japan with the 4BD1 diesel engine. The turbocharged 4BD1-T and 4BD2-TC engines followed as the lineup developed. The first U.S.-assembled gas NPR was built in Janesville, Wisconsin in February 1991. The original cab design was replaced by the “Aero Cube” cab for the 1995 model year. These early trucks are still actively used and purchased in any condition.
Isuzu W-Series (NPR-W)
The W-Series was the dual rear wheel variant of the N-Series NPR, providing additional payload stability for box truck and flatbed applications. Shared cab and engine with the NPR but with a wider rear axle configuration. Used in delivery, refrigerated, and service body applications through the early 2000s. Discontinued around 2004 as the standard NPR-HD and NQR covered the weight class. Still found throughout the used truck market in service body and box truck applications.
Isuzu FRR / FXR
The FRR and FXR were Isuzu’s heavier conventional cab trucks from the 1990s through early 2000s, covering Class 5 through Class 7 applications. The FXR was the heaviest configuration available before Isuzu streamlined to the current FSR/FTR/FVR naming structure. F-Series production for the U.S. moved to Flint, Michigan during this era. Powered by the Isuzu 6HE1 and 6HK1 diesel engines. Still found in vocational applications throughout the country and actively purchased in any condition.
