Isuzu has been the best-selling import commercial truck in the United States for over 37 consecutive years. Isuzu Commercial Truck of America began selling trucks in the U.S. in 1984 and has dominated the Class 3–5 low cab forward market ever since. The N-Series β€” including the NPR, NQR, and NRR β€” accounts for the majority of Isuzu’s volume and is the most common cab-over medium duty truck on American roads.

We buy every Isuzu truck β€” box trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, service bodies, refrigerated units, and more. Any year, any condition, running or not. This page covers every Isuzu model sold in North America.

Diesel-only configuration using the Isuzu 4HK1 engine. Used in heavier flatbed, dump, and vocational applications where the NPR and NQR don’t have sufficient payload capacity. The 2025 NRR EV is Isuzu’s first battery-electric production truck for the U.S. market, announced for introduction in 2024. We purchase all NRR models in any condition.

The most versatile configuration in the N-Series lineup, used for box trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated units, dump bodies, service bodies, and utility applications. Based on the same cab and frame as the diesel NRR but with a battery-electric drivetrain. Targeted at California and other zero-emission mandate markets for urban delivery, utility, and last-mile applications. Marks Isuzu’s entry into the electric commercial vehicle market after 40 years of diesel dominance in the North American medium duty segment.

We purchase all FSR configurations in any condition with a clear title.

2007 β€” Present

Isuzu FVR

Class 7 Conventional Cab Cummins B6.7

The FVR is Isuzu’s Class 7 conventional cab truck β€” the heaviest Isuzu available in the North American market. Less common than the FTR due to the relatively limited demand for Class 7 low cab forward trucks in the U.S. Used in heavier dump, concrete, and vocational applications requiring Class 7 ratings. Production in the U.S. began around 2007 and continues today at the Charlotte, Michigan facility. Powered by the Cummins B6.7 diesel. We purchase all FVR configurations in any condition.

Class 5–7 Conventional Cab 6HE1 / 6HK1 Diesel

The FRR and FXR were Isuzu’s heavier conventional cab trucks from the 1990s through early 2000s, covering Class 5 through Class 7 applications. Powered by the Isuzu 6HE1 and 6HK1 diesel engines. Still found in vocational applications throughout the country and actively purchased in any condition.

About Isuzu Commercial Trucks in North America

Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Inc. was established in 1984 when Isuzu first began selling trucks in the United States. In just two years β€” by 1986 β€” R.L. Polk certified Isuzu as the best-selling import commercial truck in the United States. Isuzu has held that position for over 37 consecutive years. Today Isuzu commands approximately 73% of the Class 3–5 low cab forward truck market in the United States β€” a dominance unmatched by any other brand in any commercial vehicle segment.

N-Series trucks for the North American market are assembled at Isuzu’s plant in Charlotte, Michigan. The plant began producing gas-powered N-Series trucks in 2011, having previously produced them in Janesville, Wisconsin. F-Series trucks are also produced in Charlotte. In 2023 Isuzu set all-time records for sales of Isuzu-brand trucks and Isuzu parts in North America, and the 100,000th N-Series gasoline-powered truck rolled off the Charlotte line.
