Commercial — Concrete Mixers & Vocational

In Production

Oshkosh’s core commercial truck lineup — the S-Series front discharge concrete mixer and specialty vocational trucks. All purchased.

1990s — Present

Oshkosh S-Series Front Discharge Mixer

Front Discharge Concrete Class 8 Detroit DD13 / Cummins X12 4-Axle / 6×6

The Oshkosh S-Series is the flagship front discharge concrete mixer — the dominant front discharge truck in the North American ready-mix concrete industry. The front discharge design allows the driver to precisely position the chute for concrete placement without leaving the cab, which is a major productivity advantage over rear discharge mixers for flatwork and elevated pours. Available in 4-axle configuration with 6×6 and other drive configurations. Powered by the Detroit DD13 and Cummins X12 diesel engines. Available with CNG (compressed natural gas) from the factory. The S-Series number designation indicates drum capacity and configuration — the S-2146 and S-2346 are among the most commonly encountered. The S-Series is the most recognizable commercial Oshkosh in the used market.

Various

Oshkosh Specialty Vocational Trucks

Class 8 Custom Purpose-Built Heavy Haul / Recovery / Special

Oshkosh Specialty Vehicles produces a range of custom-built vocational trucks for applications beyond the standard S-Series mixer — including heavy haul tractors, recovery vehicles, motor home chassis, and specialty transport platforms. Oshkosh’s all-wheel-drive expertise and heavy-duty frame engineering make it the choice for applications that conventional truck manufacturers cannot adequately serve. Custom-built to customer specifications in the Oshkosh tradition. We purchase all Oshkosh specialty vocational trucks in any condition. If you have an Oshkosh of any configuration, contact us for an offer.

1970s — Present

McNeilus (Oshkosh) Refuse Trucks

Refuse Collection Front Load / Rear Load / ASL Oshkosh Corporation Brand

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing — an Oshkosh Corporation brand — is one of the leading manufacturers of refuse truck bodies in North America, producing rear load, front load, and automated side load refuse collection bodies. McNeilus refuse bodies are typically mounted on Peterbilt, International, or other Class 8 chassis rather than Oshkosh-branded chassis. The McNeilus brand remains under Oshkosh Corporation following the 2023 divestiture of the rear discharge mixer business. We purchase all McNeilus-bodied refuse trucks in any condition — whether on Peterbilt, International, or other chassis.

Over 11,000 units built for the U.S. Marines and Navy plus export customers. Highly mobile across sand, mud, snow, and rough terrain. Available as cargo truck, wrecker, and tractor variants. Like the HEMTT, surplus MTVR trucks enter the civilian market through government disposal programs. We purchase all MTVR configurations in any condition.

1992 — Present

PLS — Palletized Load System

10×10 Heavy Tactical 16.5-Ton Off-Road Payload Load Handling System M1074 / M1075

The PLS (Palletized Load System) is the U.S. Army’s heavy logistics truck — a 10×10 platform with a hydraulic hook arm that loads and unloads standardized flatracks without ground personnel or forklifts. Over 6,000 M1074 and M1075 units built plus thousands converted from A0 to A1 standard. Powered by the Caterpillar C15 diesel producing 600 HP with an Allison automatic transmission. The self-loading capability makes the PLS extraordinarily efficient for rapid logistics and ammunition resupply. Surplus PLS trucks in the civilian market are sought for heavy construction and mining operations. We purchase all PLS configurations.

2009 — Present

LVSR — Logistics Vehicle System Replacement

10×10 Heavy Tactical U.S. Marine Corps MKR15 / MKR16 / MKR18 2,020 Built

Approximately 2,020 units built in MKR15 wrecker, MKR16 tractor, and MKR18 cargo variants. First fielded in 2009. The LVSR replaced the older LVS (Logistics Vehicle System) in Marine Corps service. Less commonly encountered in the civilian surplus market than the HEMTT or PLS due to lower production numbers. We purchase all LVSR examples in any condition.

Airport — ARFF & Ground Support

In Production

Oshkosh Airport Products produces the most capable Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) trucks in the world. All purchased.

1968 — Present

Oshkosh ARFF Trucks (P-Series & Striker)

Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Oshkosh Striker Airport / Military ARFF 6×6 / 8×8

Oshkosh has been building Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) trucks since 1968, when it produced the U.S. Navy’s MB-5 capable of carrying 400 gallons of water expandable to 5,000 gallons of extinguishing foam. The P-15 ARFF truck was developed in 1977. Today the Oshkosh Striker is the world’s leading ARFF vehicle — used at major commercial airports, military air bases, and government facilities worldwide. The Striker is available in 3,000, 4,000, and 6,000-gallon water capacity configurations in 6×6 and 8×8 drive arrangements. The TAK-4 independent suspension system allows the Striker to accelerate from 0–50 mph in under 25 seconds — the FAA response time requirement. We purchase all Oshkosh ARFF trucks in any condition.

Various

Oshkosh Ground Support Vehicles

Airport Ground Support Aircraft Tow Tractors De-Icing Trucks

Oshkosh Airport Products produces a range of ground support equipment beyond the Striker ARFF — including aircraft tow tractors, de-icing vehicles, and specialty airport equipment. The U-30 aircraft tow tractor, designed in 1968 for the C5A cargo aircraft, was an early example of Oshkosh’s airport support capability. Surplus airport ground support vehicles occasionally enter the civilian market through airport equipment auctions. We purchase all Oshkosh airport vehicles in any condition.

Snow Removal — WT-Series & H-Series

In Production

Oshkosh’s legendary snow removal trucks — airport runway plows and highway snow equipment. All purchased.

1947 — Present

Oshkosh Airport Snow Removal

Airport Runway Plow H-Series / WT-Series One-Pass Runway Clearing Military & Commercial Airports

Oshkosh’s airport snow removal trucks are among the most specialized vehicles on earth — designed to clear an entire runway in a single pass at speeds up to 55 mph. The WT-2206 of the post-WWII era could plow snow at speeds conventional equipment couldn’t approach — a capability critical to the Distant Early Warning system during the Cold War. Modern Oshkosh airport plows such as the H-series continue this legacy with massive blade width and high-speed clearing capability. Used at major commercial airports and U.S. military air bases worldwide. Surplus airport plows enter the civilian market through government disposal. We purchase all Oshkosh snow removal trucks in any condition.

1925 — Present

Oshkosh Highway Snow Equipment

Municipal & Highway Snowplow Trucks 4WD All-Wheel Drive

Oshkosh’s snow removal heritage extends back to the Model H truck of 1925 — a powerful six-cylinder truck that proved highly useful for road construction and snowplowing for municipalities. Oshkosh’s four-wheel-drive capability was a key differentiator in snow removal applications from the beginning. Today Oshkosh produces highway snow removal equipment for state DOT fleets, municipalities, and private contractors across the Snow Belt states. We purchase all Oshkosh snow removal trucks in any condition.

About Oshkosh Truck

Oshkosh Corporation — originally the Oshkosh Motor Truck Manufacturing Company — was founded in 1917 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The company traces its roots to the Four Wheel Drive Auto Company, credited with building the second four-wheel-drive vehicle ever constructed in the United States. Oshkosh built its first truck (the Model A) in 1917 and has specialized in purpose-built heavy-duty 4WD trucks ever since. The company is now a Fortune 500 corporation with approximately 30 manufacturing plants worldwide.

Oshkosh’s business spans three major market segments: Defense (HEMTT, MTVR, PLS, LVSR and other military vehicles), Vocational (S-Series concrete mixers, McNeilus refuse bodies, airport ARFF trucks, and specialty vehicles), and Access Equipment (JLG aerial work platforms). Oshkosh is the only company that has delivered more than 100,000 military vehicles to U.S. forces — a milestone reached in 2013.

Oshkosh & The Military — A Century of Service

Oshkosh’s military vehicle production began in 1939 when the U.S. Army Air Corps selected the Model W-700 for snow removal at air bases. The company’s 4WD capability and extreme durability made it the natural choice for military logistics applications throughout World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. The HEMTT, introduced in 1982, became the backbone of U.S. Army heavy logistics and has served in every major U.S. military operation since. Over 100,000 Oshkosh military vehicles have been delivered to U.S. forces — more than any other manufacturer.
