2024 β€” Present

Cybertruck AWD

Dual Motor AWD 600 HP 340 mi Range 11,000 lb Towing

The core Cybertruck configuration and the most commonly purchased variant β€” dual motor all-wheel-drive producing 600 HP. Range of approximately 340 miles EPA estimated. Towing capacity of 11,000 lbs with the Premium AWD configuration, 7,500 lbs on the Standard AWD. Adaptive air suspension standard on Premium, coil spring on Standard. 0–60 mph in 3.9 seconds. Charged via Tesla’s NACS connector with up to 350 kW DC fast charging capability. The 2026 model year introduced a new base AWD trim at $59,990 β€” the most affordable Cybertruck Tesla has ever offered.

2024 β€” Present

Cybertruck Cyberbeast

Tri-Motor AWD 845 HP 320 mi Range 0–60 in 2.6 sec

The Cyberbeast is Tesla’s top-specification Cybertruck β€” a tri-motor all-wheel-drive configuration producing 845 HP and capable of 0–60 mph in 2.6 seconds with a quarter mile under 11 seconds. The most powerful production pickup truck ever sold in terms of horsepower at the time of its launch. EPA range of approximately 320 miles. Towing capacity 11,000 lbs. Adaptive air suspension standard. The Cyberbeast launched at $99,990 in standard configuration and $119,990 in Foundation Series trim. Commands a significant premium in the used market due to its performance credentials.

2023 β€” 2024

Foundation Series (FS)

Limited Launch Edition AWD & Cyberbeast 35″ All-Terrain Tires Full Equipment

The Foundation Series was Tesla’s fully-loaded launch configuration available exclusively to early reservation holders β€” $20,000 above the standard AWD and Cyberbeast pricing. Foundation Series trucks came standard with 35-inch all-terrain tires, the full premium interior package, and all available options. Production of Foundation Series trucks began at the November 2023 launch and continued through early 2024. The Foundation Series badge and specification make these early production Cybertrucks the most collectible configuration. We actively purchase all Foundation Series trucks in any condition.

2025 β€” 2025

Cybertruck RWD (Discontinued)

Single Motor RWD 250 mi Range 7,500 lb Towing 5 Months Only

The single-motor rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck was introduced in 2025 as the entry-level configuration and discontinued after just five months on the market β€” one of the shortest production runs of any modern vehicle variant. Priced at $69,990, it offered approximately 250 miles of range and 7,500 lbs towing capacity without the adaptive air suspension, leather seats, or full feature set of the AWD models. Poor sales reception led Tesla to pull it quickly and replace it with the more competitive 2026 base AWD at $59,990. The discontinued RWD is a rare configuration in the used market. We purchase all RWD examples in any condition.

2024 β€” Present

Cybertruck Range Extender

AWD & Cyberbeast 470+ mi Range (AWD) 440+ mi Range (Cyberbeast) Bed-Mounted Battery

The Range Extender is an optional auxiliary battery pack that mounts in the Cybertruck’s bed, extending range to over 470 miles on the AWD and 440+ miles on the Cyberbeast β€” making it the longest-range full-size truck ever offered. The Range Extender occupies approximately 2.5 feet of bed length when installed. Available as a factory or aftermarket option on both AWD and Cyberbeast configurations. Trucks equipped with the Range Extender command a premium in the used market due to the substantially increased real-world utility for long-distance driving and towing. We purchase all Range Extender-equipped trucks.

Body & Construction

Stainless Steel Exoskeleton

Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled Stainless Unpainted Exterior Armor Glass

The Cybertruck’s body is constructed from Tesla’s own ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel β€” the same alloy used in SpaceX’s Starship rocket. The exoskeleton design eliminates traditional body-on-frame construction in favor of a structural outer shell. The unpainted stainless finish is highly resistant to dents and corrosion but does show fingerprints, scratches, and surface rust on early production examples. Tesla Armor Glass provides shatter resistance. The angular flat-panel design was chosen specifically because stainless steel cannot be stamped into curved shapes at scale.

Battery & Charging

123 kWh Battery β€” 800V Architecture

123 kWh Lithium-Ion 816V System Up to 350 kW DC Fast Charge

The Cybertruck uses a 123 kWh lithium-ion battery pack operating on an 816-volt architecture β€” one of the highest voltage systems in any production vehicle. The high voltage enables faster charging rates up to 350 kW at compatible DC fast chargers, allowing approximately 136 miles of range to be added in 15 minutes on the AWD configuration. Uses Tesla’s NACS (North American Charging Standard) connector, now adopted as the industry standard by most major automakers. The Cybertruck also features Powershare vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-home (V2H) capability through three outlets in the bed.

Dimensions & Payload

Full-Size Truck Dimensions

223.7″ Length 6′ Bed 2,500 lb Payload 6,603–6,843 lb Curb Weight

The Cybertruck is a full-size crew cab pickup at 223.7 inches long and 79.99 inches wide β€” comparable to a Ram 1500 or F-150 in overall footprint. The bed measures 4 feet wide by 6 feet long with a motorized lockable tonneau cover standard. Payload capacity is up to 2,500 lbs on Premium AWD and Cyberbeast configurations. The Cybertruck is significantly heavier than equivalent gasoline trucks β€” AWD curb weight is approximately 6,603 lbs and Cyberbeast is 6,843 lbs β€” which affects some towing and payload calculations. L-track cargo rails in the bed allow flexible tie-down configurations.

About the Tesla Cybertruck

The Tesla Cybertruck was unveiled by Elon Musk at Tesla’s design studio in Hawthorne, California on November 21, 2019 β€” to immediate and polarizing reaction. The angular stainless steel design was unlike anything previously seen in the automotive industry. Within days, over 250,000 deposits were placed. Over the following four years, the Cybertruck’s launch was delayed multiple times as Tesla worked through engineering and manufacturing challenges, including the difficulty of working with stainless steel at production scale.

Production finally began at Gigafactory Texas in Austin in November 2023 β€” four years after the unveiling. The first deliveries took place November 30, 2023 at a delivery event at Tesla’s headquarters. Initial production was slow, ramping to approximately 900–1,300 units per week by mid-2024. Despite considerable hype, Cybertruck sales have been described as disappointing relative to initial reservation numbers, with multiple recalls in 2024 covering issues including an accelerator pedal defect, windshield wiper failure, and overly bright parking lights.

Why We Buy Cybertrucks

The Cybertruck occupies a unique position in the used truck market. Early adopters who placed deposits in 2019 and received their trucks in 2023–2024 represent a specific buyer profile β€” and a growing number of those buyers are looking to sell. Whether it’s a change in circumstances, dissatisfaction with the product, high mileage fleet use, or simply moving on to something else, Cybertruck sellers need a buyer who understands the vehicle’s value and can move quickly.

We purchase Cybertrucks the same way we purchase any other truck β€” fair cash offer, we come to you, we handle all paperwork. The stainless exterior condition, battery state of health, and configuration (AWD vs Cyberbeast, Foundation Series vs standard) all factor into the offer. We purchase all configurations in any condition including salvage, damaged, or high mileage examples.

Cybertruck Production Quality & Recall History

  • April 2024 β€” Accelerator Pedal Recall β€” A metal trim plate on the accelerator pedal could detach and get lodged under the floor mat, causing unintended acceleration. Tesla service centers replaced the pedal assembly.
  • June 2024 β€” Windshield Wiper Recall β€” The wiper motor controller could receive excessive electrical current causing wiper failure. Software and hardware fix required.
  • 2024 β€” Parking Light Recall β€” Approximately 63,619 Cybertrucks recalled due to parking lights that exceeded federal brightness standards, potentially blinding other drivers.
  • Ongoing OTA Updates β€” Tesla pushes over-the-air software updates that address issues and add features without requiring a service visit. Many Cybertruck issues have been partially or fully resolved through OTA updates.

Cybertruck in the Used Market

The Cybertruck’s used market is still developing given the vehicle only launched in late 2023. Early Foundation Series examples and low-mileage Cyberbeast trucks retain significant value. High-mileage examples, trucks with damage, or those with recall-related issues trade at meaningful discounts. The discontinued RWD variant is rare and its value relative to the AWD is uncertain. Tesla’s continuous OTA improvement approach means software-related issues on used Cybertrucks can often be resolved, but hardware recalls require service center attention regardless of ownership.
